Yoon Eun Hye‘s upcoming movie My Black Minidress premieres next week in Korea, and I’ve posted about it earlier here. The movie held a VIP only screening a few days ago with a bevy of A-list stars in attendance. The early reviews are predominately positive – the general gist is that the movie is pretty good for its subject matter and genre.
The production just released an official MV for the movie, featuring a single sung by its four leads Yoon Eun Hye, Cha Ye Ryun, Park Han Byul, and Yoo In Na. It’s so weird that, having made the acquaintance of Yoon Eun Hye through her acting first, I keep forgetting that she was a singing idol first and foremost.
To be honest, the song is breezy but forgettable, and the singing is all around a blendy mess of voices not in harmony and tunes not in sync. However, it lends an air of authenticity that I like. The movie itself is not something I feel the urge to run out and watch, but does seem like a fun movie to watch on a girls’ night in with some white wine and lots of “boys suck” stories to go around the table.

He? Yoon Eun-hye is a singer? I didn’t know that. When I first heard about this move, ‘The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants’ immediately came to mind.
Hmmm….looks like Lipstick Jungle combi Shopaholic….ahihihi 🙂
I would add a touch of Sex and the city. Seems to be entertaining. Looking forward to it although I will have to wait until subs r out. Dear Koala, I’m a relatively new reader on your website & this is my first comment: Thank u soo much for keeping us updated with the entertaining world in Asia! (^_^)☆
I believe Yoon Eun Hye was part of Baby Vox (popular in the late 90s and early 00s). It’s definitely a mixture of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Sex and the City, which are my kind of movies.
