Perhaps one of the reasons a drama slated to star two of my fave actors ends up being a dud is that the drama gods need to balance out the karma. Too much awesome from the acting pairing, hence they get saddled with a crap script. That was my story during the run of Mary Stayed Out All Night, and it looks like I’m finding solace in the same logic with Lie to Me. But I’m keeping my hopes high for LTM, especially with the spoilers for the upcoming episode. Take a look, and come squee with me. I’m really so easy to please.
All imma going to say is – that kiss better be REAL and LONG. Perhaps it’s the turning point we need. All I know is that kiss turned my insides into jelly. I also decree that since the drama writing sucks, the least the writer can do is throw in a boating in this drama, and many more kissing scenes. Damnit, Ki Joon owns a freaking hotel! They can literally “get a room” anytime. Tee hee, I’m so bad.

the start of this summer is turning into a major drama fest…. i think on top of DTLY and Best Love, i prob can’t handle any more at the mmt so I’ll keep Lie to Me on the backburner for leaner times… much as I love Kang Ji Hwan (coffee house! bahh I miss his character in there.. his chaebol character could be cranked up a notch seriously) and Yoon Eun-Hye (coffee prince!), I’m a greater fan of the Hong sisters as writers. and DTLY owns my heart so too late for that.

why sould i love the drama which every one is criticizing it ? I am kind of person who watch dramas to enjoy …NOT as subject to be analysis ,so i don’t care if it has low rating or boring plot ! as long as i can see these guys (woW hot kiss ) , i am gonna be with them so far !

Been a reader for a while just never posted anything before. Just wanted to let you know you have a wonderful website, though you already know that =). But I come here to get all my Kdrama fixes. Kang Ji Hwan should wear suites all the time, don’t you agree? That man is just oozing sexiness with his fine self. This drama is really getting to be on the slower side, but I will stick with it until the end because I love the leads. For them I will blow through and KJH in suites always helps. Thanks again for all the spoilers and BTS pics.
i am pretty sure this show will pick up once both our leads are in role-playing mode! and not a moment too soon!!! (6 episodes in?!! Yeesh this is reminding me of a few other slow-starters but perrenial faves…) also HOT HOT HOT!!! 😉

I’m pretty sure that it’s a kiss for the benefit of AJ’s friends, but dang it… it’s looks soo nice in photos anyway. 🙂 I don’t care if it’s a “fake” kiss. I feel so sad that this is such a crappily written drama, but I will stick it out until the end for my OTP that I can’t help but love. Even though, AJ is a little bratty, has sunken to some new lows with this whole lie thing… I’m hoping that through this, she can also grow herself and realize that she’s much better than all of this. KJH is super hot in suits – I am definitely loving every moment of that. But he also did look really nice when he took off the parts that got dirty from the throw up (suit but without the vest & tie). I liked how they looked really sweet and comfortable when they relaxed a little and eased up the arguing. I’m not putting much hope on it getting better but I want it enjoy it though even with the horrible horrible script.
Writers – please give us more OTP at the very least!!

though the pictures excite me thinking about it in the drama-action perspective I’m guessing it would still bore some viewers in a way. I think why the drama is getting enough viewers to have a decent rating is because of both a-listers. They keep the drama sailing.
Koala i’m so with you, that kiss better be real and well worth it, cause damn this drama is wasting the talent of these actors big time, I following along by reading your recaps, but serioulsy the writing sucks, I think this is worst that MMM or equaly worst. I just don’t see the direction where this is going, yes we have the TOP alreading interacting with each other, but the emotional pull to me is not there yet at all. For the rest of cast I really don’t care, I found her friend-enemy super annoying and the rest are just there. I feel bad for YEH cause she keeps picking wrong dramas, well her people really. Bottom line the drama lacks heart and creativity.
