There was no preview for episode 20 at the end of last week’s episode 19 of Office Girls, which left me totally chafing at the bit. I take OG for granted, but the second something is gone, I feel bereft. Such is the strength of my affection for it. The previews are finally out, and it looks like a doozy. Mama Shen is sick again (no surprise), Kai Er is still the biggest witch this side of the West, and Zi Qi’s mom is finally going to take action to get rid of the girl she thinks isn’t good enough for her precious son. Regardless of the fact that her son loves Xing Ren to pieces. Bring on the angst, drama! I am so ready for this Sunday.

A picture ignites a maelstrom! Zi Qi’s dinner with Kai Er has been snapped by Le Le. The always trusting Xing Ren is furious at Zi Qi. What did Zi Qi say that made Xing Ren so angry? Kai Er is displeased with what Le Le said to her and she picks an opportunity to backstab Le Le. The straightforward Le Le ends up upsetting Zi Qi’s mom. Will Le Le’s professional life be filled with new challenges? Mama Shen has collapsed again. The sky high medical bills leave Xing Ren unable to breathe. Zi Qi hurts for Xing Ren so he goes to ask his mom for the money. His mom uses this opportunity to cut a deal with Zi Qi. How will Zi Qi choose?

Mama Shen collapses again, but won’t let Xing Ren use the money Mama saved up for the medical bills since she wants Xing Ren to have it as her bridal gift. Zi Qi begs his mom to lend him the money. Mom agrees and says this is a gift to Xing Ren. Her only requirement is that Zi Qi must break up with Xing Ren. Zi Qi hears this and his face freezes.
