Pretty and Inappropriate Hugs Coming Up for In Ho and Da Jung in Prime Minister and I
I’m mentally ready for In Ho to step up in Prime Minister and I because the narrative needs it otherwise he’s as useful as window dressing, but I’m not emotionally ready for Yoon Si Yoon to either turn bad or become a totally morose and hopeless third wheel in the OTP relationship. This drama is moving so fast whatever is coming will come, but the recently released stills of In Ho hugging Da Jung hits two of my nerves simultaneously and causes my head to spin. My Yoon Si Yoon loving heart says he looks absolutely gorgeous hugging Yoona, much more than I ever thought possible. My drama loving heart wants In Ho to get his stinking paws off Da Jung because its so inappropriate. Regardless of whether Da Jung and Yul have a contract marriage, it’s still a legal union under the law and they are husband and wife. He has no room to interject himself whether in sympathy or attraction. Even more important in keeping my beloved Da Jung and Yul away from danger is to keep them away from any gossip. And having the Prime Minister’s wife getting hugged by his personal aide is so not kosher it’s not even funny. Da Jung is not weak and constantly needing comfort and reassurance. Now even when that situation arises, In Ho isn’t even line to offer it much less just give it. It would help a lot if the drama clarified what he feels for Da Jung so that I can critique properly rather than assume he’s acting on some combination of intentional and emotional impetus. I don’t mind seeing more Yoon Si Yoon in this drama but right now it’s all OTP all the time for me so please release new Yul and Da Jung stills, KBS! I need to see what wuri Prime Minister acts around Da Jung after getting kissed into silence.
When I saw the preview, I got the impression that In Ho was just listening to Da Jung up until the point the PM walked around the corner. And In Ho gives her a surprise knowing full well that the PM saw the hug….. and now I am like, what is In Ho’s deal. Did he purposely do it to raise PM’s hackles? Hmmm….
I think I just want the rest of the drama to air right now… can’t wait.
Yeah, not feeling this. I don’t want to dislike In Ho, but really there’s place for him in their marriage. It’s a contract, but one she wanted and agreed to. The stakes are also too high and there are children involved so I have a hard time feeling bad for him or understanding him. Though I am pretty sure he’s doing it on purpose and hopefully his actions are part of something bigger.
…But damn, they look good together.
Da Jung looks confused by In Ho gesture. But I like second leads when they’re well written, obviously they’re meant to be obstacles. But I love the “jealousy” factor they bring. I hope we get to see a really jealous Kwon Yul and In Ho won’t be a major problem.
Even I don’t know what to expect what In Ho’s intentions are.
I’m actually okay with this ship if done properly. I would not say that this action from In Ho is inappropriate because it is a legal union under the law…the p minister and DJ is pulling a pretty big sham, pulling a wool over the nation with their fake relationship and contract marriage to protect their self interests. I would say what pm and Dj is doing is more morally wrong than In Ho going after DJ.
As much as I like DJ and PM together, I wouldn’t mind if the story went to the point where in the end PM ends with his aide who loved for years and that In Ho ends with DJ. As long as they write In Ho well and that the aide continues to be nice and caring to PM and not turn into a psycho later.
The whole marriage for self interest and not for love is probably true of a lot of marriages, especially political ones tbh. So the one they are tricking the public thing doesn’t carry much weight for me. Though obviously the drama is going to make it a bigger deal.
I’ve been wondering what In Ho’s real motive was in coming to work for the PM.
In Ho needs to come out clear.I don`t know what to think about him, he is so cute but at the same time looks like he is hiding something big.
Yoon Si Yoon and Yoona look good together but i can`t get over the amazing chemistry between Lee Beum Soo and Yoona.
As much as I love the OTP personally, my only real gripe with having the alternaOTPs being the end game is in regards to Manse’s fate. Clearly the little boy carries enough affection for Dajung that he would want her to be his mom, and there is absolutely no way I can see Hyejoo filing that void for Manse (and the other kids). If family plays an integral part in this story, there is one and only one ending–Dajung and Kwon Yul.
If Hye Joo had wanted to fill anywhere near a motherly role we would have seen a little something from her already. She seems all PM all the time which is fine since that’s her job, but from a romantic position she missed an opportunity to broaden her relationship with the PM. Her hackles are so instantly raised by Da Jung that it makes me wonder about the PM’s first marriage. He looked so happy at the engagement but all signs point to it not ending well.
Am i the only one suffering from second lead syndrome here? I actually think Yoon shi yoon and yonna look so good together. Got so giddy at that scene where he helped fix her dress. To me they seem like theyve got loads of chemistry.

Same here. I hope she wins the little ones over first. Then we get to see the kids plotting to bring the adults closer and rallying behind DJ. That would be cute to watch.
