The latest character reveals for tvN fantasy drama Hwayugi (A Korean Odyssey) continue to impress with the visuals and creativity. Supporting female leads Bora and Lee Se Young make their debuts in drastically contrasting looks. Bora plays top star Alice under the agency of Cha Seung Won’s Bull Demon King, and she’s a supernatural character as well as the Jade Dragon. Bora always looks beautiful and beaming and here she’s clearly going to be dolled up to the nines with plenty of eye candy for the viewers. The opposite is true of Lee Se Young who plays a girl zombie and her first stills show her wandering around in full Walking Dead makeup with blood and rotting flesh. I hear her character is supposed to be adorable in how she’s trying not to keep rotting away so I’ll just leave it up to the Hong sisters to bring all these weirdos together into one drama and make it work.
