I have to commend the production team of tvN late summer drama Knowing Wife (Familiar Wife) for really capturing the warm close vibe of a married couple. Whether it’s the drama posters of leads Ji Sung and Han Ji Min to their latest pre-married college day first love stills, the sincere aura of a couple in for the long haul is there. These college stills are so perfect, the couple studying together at the library or just lounging in the common outdoor space. The quiet contentness is the feeling expressed and the one I really soak up, romance without the sizzle but with the solidarity. I’m sure we’ll see the OTP being unhappily married before Ji Sung makes the decision that alters their fate but gives them a do-over to appreciate each other more the second time around.
