Namgong Min Gets His Black Sun Drama Leading Ladies in Park Ha Sun and Rising Actress Kim Ji Eun
It feels like Awaken (Night and Day) all over again, with Namgong Min holding down the fort along with a veteran actress and a younger fresh faced actress. Before Awaken even finished airing Namgong Min already signed on for his next drama, the MBC thriller Black Sun where he plays the top operative for the overseas NIS unit. I’m guess it’s all black ops and he’s that antihero type. Joining him will be Park Ha Sun as a crime investigation unit team leader and rising newbie(ish) actress Kim Ji Eun as Namgong Min’s partner from behind-the-scenes. The drama has Namgong Min searching for the truth behind a conspiracy that turned him into a traitor and to do so he has to wipe his own memory. The drama is slated to be only 12-episodes and is scheduled for a fall 2021 premiere.
not happy with PHS but oh well. will probably check it out for NM.

For MBC’s sake, have decent ratings, Show.
It does sound like Awaken all over again. Hope he brings a fresh performance to this, not the same unfazed hero persona I’ve seen him play a dozen times in other dramas.

Finally some good entertainment news with Nam Goong Min coming back to a drama. Not familiar with the two leading ladies but will probably watch this for him
