I still get annoyed when drama productions pick a Korean title and then choose an English one that isn’t either a direct translation or at least an approximation in meaning. Upcoming MBC action thriller Black Sun is now called The Veil which could point to whatever shadowy organization that male lead Namgoong Min is trying to topple. He’s been bulking up like a madman since finishing filming for sci-fi drama Awaken (Night and Day) and the first official stills show how much muscle he’s packing on even underneath his white dress shirt and black jacket. I think Namgoong Min takes his craft very seriously and I applaud it but I could buy him as a special ops agent even without The Rock level muscles, but then again totally not complaining here.

It's Namgoong Min, I have no complaints either
I watched Awaken because it has NGM. So I will watch Black Sun/ The Veil no matter what.
The bulked up physique is just a wonderful bonus.
NGM is the only actor that I will watch his bad dramas.
NGM is seriously hot, sexy & manly on another level. That's why I like k-actors above 35. He's looking a bit tanned here which will propel his character to iconic status. A middle finger to those pale, pasty white, foundation laden ML characters. I have been loving him since 12 Years Promise. I'm currently re-watching Beautiful Gong Shim. Adore his mesmerising eyes when he goes soft and tender. He can do comedy, drama, slice of life, thriller and now action. Not surprised if he gets nominated again in Baeksang next year.
I like Nam better than many A-list Hallyu actors. I looked up his age, damn he's 43! He ages like fine wine. Jin Ah Reum is sure one lucky lady. This is a rare instance of a great K-actor who is not afraid to hide his GF. Doesn't even care that it will affect his IG followers or popularity. Still getting awesome roles. Even publicly thanked her and said he loves her in his KBS acceptance speech. Total respect for this guy.

Irony is he said he does inject botox on his forehead. But the trick is that he doesn't overdo it imo. For someone whose 43 yrs old, he looks fit and still luminous! Not that 43 is old lol. I like Namgoong Min because he isn't stuck in a typecast acting role in every drama. He seems to enjoy finding different characters to portray and he does it very well.
