There are six more episodes left for MBN sageuk drama Bossam: Stealing Fate and it continues to excel at everything it does, on track to be the best period drama for the first half of 2021 and perhaps the entire year. A big achievement was hit in episode 13 this Saturday at the highest AGB nationwide rating hit 8.648% which is higher than the final episode ratings of Graceful Family which had been the highest rated drama for the network until now. Congrats to Bossam and to MBN for continuing to try and produce good dramas even if it’s not yet as steady in content as bigger cable networks. The drama has entered into the final arc of the show, no longer about the abducted princess or the hidden yangban son, everyone is back in the palace politicking crosshairs directly and still nothing is easy or readily handed to our wonderful OTP leads. It did get a little makjang when Ba Woo’s ex-wife showed back up but I’m less worried about the makjang type twist as I am that one side is going to have a rocks fall down ending in order to achieve steady new status quo again and of course I hope it’s the Left Chancellor that mega evil troll.
