  2. Okay, the promo poster may be boring af.
But I loved KYD in Sh**ting Star. Imho his acting there was great.

Even if most of the time I‘m not a fan of Sageuk dramas, but the cast looks promising. Perhaps I’ll give it a try.

  3. I liked Kim Young-Dae in Shooting Star, but I’m not convinced by him as a King. Park Joo-Hyun wasn’t lucky in her choices but she’s pretty good and funny.

  4. while it’s true that the FL might not have the charm as a main lead yet, it’s truly embarrassing for the ML cuz this isn’t his first time headlining a drama.

The one who actually got no charm for sure is the ML

    • I don’t think it’s meant to be in the same genre as Red Sleeve?

It’s basically fluffy youth sageuk (really just costume drama) sprinkled with tongue-in-cheek anachronisms, like 100 Days My Prince, My Sassy Girl, Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency, Joseon Psychiatrist, Royal Inspector and Joy, etc. I don’t think anyone expects it to be a hit. Just needs to not put them in the red financially.

The video preview doesn’t look too bad. About what I expect for this type of drama. The posters are pretty terrible. They could have taken any cover from the webtoon and just copy the pose and layout, but didn’t. These promo images sort of scream “she’s harassing him” to me. Still, there have been dramas with bad promos and posters who end up doing well i.e. A Business Proposal

    • Exactly, whoever read the webtoon knows this is a fluffy drama and not a serious one and tbh I like both the cast leads like they’d suit the humour actually
