Shin Ye Eun Gets the Best Reviews of Her Career Playing the Evil Teenage Top Bully in The Glory

I love seeing growth in young actors and actresses and this year 2022 has been great for Shin Ye Eun. She luckily or unfortunately (depends on how you see it) debuted as a female lead in She is Psychometric rather than working her way up the supporting roles and not being amazing off the bat has yielded a string of lackluster reviews dogging her until this year. She took a supporting role in Yumi’s Cells 2 that I found super adorable even if she was kinda a third wheel in the story but she made it charming to viewers. Even more impressive is her doing a supporting role in Netflix drama The Glory playing the high school version of antagonist Lim Ji Yeon, the top bully of the story that sets the wheels into motion for the revenge plot. Netizens are raving about her performance, saying she’s much better than the adult actress and that she really should have played baddies earlier to showcase this side of her.

Shin Ye Eun Gets the Best Reviews of Her Career Playing the Evil Teenage Top Bully in The Glory — 5 Comments

  1. She played a school girl that seeks revenge in Revenge of Others (2022 Disney+) and the performance is so good too! I’m a fan after that drama. Glad that she gain much deserved recognition after The Glory🙂

  2. i feel like im jiyeon is getting the shorter end of the stick. for me, she is much more memorable than shin ye eun bc lim ji yeon plays unhinged so well, while somehow still looking beautiful and classy. evil incarnate has never looked better, and it’s going to be so satisfying when dong eun properly brings her down.

  3. Lim Ji Yeon and Shin Ye Eun play evil so well, but if I were to be in front of both, Shin Ye Eun would scare the sh*t out of me. Maybe because we have seen her do evil things and I expect to see this in part two for Lim Ji Yeon.
