K-rapper Ravi of VIXX and 2 Days 1 Night Faces Two Years Jail Sentence for Falsifying Medical Records for Military Service Exemption or Downgrade — 4 Comments

  1. The list will be completed here, Military extended service (checked), getting away with Medical issues (checked), Deportation (checked), and last but not least Jail due to false statement will be on the checked list soon 😀

  2. Ravi was initially got grade 3 in 2021, postponed his service until recently, and got grade 4 in re-examination in 2019. So he was already qualified for social service which is a huge privilege for most people. The problem is for whatever reasons, his company co-CEO contacted the broker in early 2021, and they went extra length to get him fully exempted from military. So they conspired to fake fainting, faking epilepsy, requested prescription, and ate the medicine before the detailed physical examination so the substance was detected in the urine test, resulting in achieving grade 5, but Military reversed the grade judgement and he needed to enlist as social worker (grade 4). So everything were in vain, basically. Paid 50M and now at the risk of prison time.

If he gets prison time (2 years or less), he will be the first celebrity to get the punishment. Celebrities just don’t learn, we thought at least they know best to not mess up with military but someone dumb will do it again and again, such a career s*uicide

  3. Some clarifications. He left Jellyfish Entertainment to start his own label, Groovl1n, which he claims he was the only money maker. He was still a part of VIXX, who is under Jellyfish. He says he tried to postpone/be exempt bc he was meant to go on tour but covid delayed the tour and he would have to pay cancellation fees in contracts if the tour was “rescheduled” during his enlistment. Also he had already unofficially quit 2d1n when he left to go to military since they never mentioned him coming back.
