Lim Ji Yeon Continues Living Her Best Life After Baeksang Best Supporting Actress Win with Celebrity Opening Baseball Throw
Watching K-actress Lim Ji Yeon beam her way through months of career highs is a bit like the alterna version of The Glory where her mean girl character was popular and successful. Here she is the nice girl getting all the glory so to speak and doing so looking radiant with the adrenaline of happiness. She was the celebrity baseball opening pitch this weekend in Seoul and I can’t tell if the throw was passable or a dud but she gave off major “happy to be here vibes” so a win for all!
Its great to see LJY gain back her career after being written off in the 2010s after her spectacular breakout. Too many actresses were buried back then by much less talented overrated stars. LJY, KTR, KJW, KGE really came to sweep the 90s line. Actual talented actresses and chemistry queens.

I didn’t realize until later that she was with Song Seung-heon in Obsessed K-Movie. No wonder when I watched the Glory I recognized her face, but didn’t know from which drama she was in 😀 Wish her the best!
She played the cute friend of Uee in 2015’s “High Society”. The sparkling chemistry with Park Hyung Sik’s character was off the charts. The leads were overshadowed by these two. She’s a brilliant actress.
The drama was truly mediocre. The male lead was boring however I’ve probably rewatched the 2nd lead couple about 10 times. Its wonderful for a feel good romance. She was so earnest and had integrity. He was just adorably cocky till he fell in love. That mum of his was just adorable too. Like I said I’ve rewatched them countless times even though that drama just deadly dull.
I can’t help but notice how radiant she looks these days. Either her stylist is really good or it’s also the effect of being in love. Anyways, I am happy for her.
She is charismatic, even as a villain. Very professional! There’s no role she can’t take to make alive.
