Dylan Wang’s Agency in Talks to Get Him Supporting Role in Big Budget C-movie Wandering Earth 3

I really like how Dylan Wang and his agency is mapping out his career, including attending this year’s 2024 NBA All-Star game and playing in the celeb game. He loves the NBA and is really so charming and earnest on ever big stages. This week C-ent casting says his agency is working hard to get him a supporting role in the Chinese space movie Wandering Earth 3, which if he gets it would be a great step into the film industry. His on deck C-drama Guardians of the Dafeng remains not yet scheduled so it will be some time before he is back on the small screen in a drama.

Dylan Wang’s Agency in Talks to Get Him Supporting Role in Big Budget C-movie Wandering Earth 3 — 17 Comments

  1. I don’t know about how his agency treating another talents under them but I have to say they treating Dylan in a great way and his team is well known as one of the nicest in C-Ent. His team is easy going and great to work with, everything are negotiable. They are ready to defend him and never heard of outrageous demands from them. This kind of team is a good recipe for success as an artist.

    • Being under a good agency is very important. My favourite C-singer is Zhou Shen. He has a good team taking care of his career and day to day too. Thus he can concentrate on doing all that he enjoys. Very important.

  2. He just needs to pay them enough money. It’s how cent works. If you grease enough palms, it doesn’t matter that you can’t act. You are in.

  3. It’s great that he’s taking things slowly and not bite off more than he can chew. IMO Wang Hedi has the star factor potential, he just needs to work on his acting and line delivery.

    • I actually think his acting is pretty good minus Only for Love, especially if you watch the BTS for LBFAD and how he really prepared for the emo crying scenes. I think Only for love is an anomaly and could be due to the writing and directing. Agree on the star quality totally.

      • I’m especially looking forward to his performance in Guardians of the Dafeng, this drama is a crucial turning point for his future.

      • It’s funny because I think LBFAD is the anomaly. Miss the Dragon was also terrible. I do agree he has a star factor though and seems to work hard. I also like his goofy personality in variety shows as well. I feel like his acting is trending in the right direction though (improving with each project). I hope he continues on that path because I do want him to be successful. Guardians of Da Feng looks interesting and I’m hopeful that he’ll deliver since it seems to have a comedic tone in the trailer.

  4. I like that he’s taking it slow but is a sequel the right movie for Didi? How many sequels are successful? Wish they pitched him for another movie.

  5. WHD isn’t taking things slowly lmao are these comments here even serious?

Even with all his backing this is as much as he can get in a film market that is already saturated with people with resources. He isn’t a good actor, his voice is a disaster and he must have a VA in a market where more and more people are demanding original voices and no matter the backing this support role is the highest he can aim for.

If he could, he would aim for the lead but he can’t. Hopefully he won’t get it. We don’t need mediocre actors polluting decent movies.

  6. As a completely non-sports person, I smiled so much to see him do the NBA thing. I knew literally not one single other person in that game, nor do I know much about the actual professional players in the NBA. But there on that court in Indiana was DONGFANG QINGCANG, which even now makes me smile, lol.

(I know he’s not his character(s). He’s a kid who likes acting and who really does like basketball, too. I just enjoy seeing people do things they love.)

  7. Now every liuliang is inevitably taking at least one or more projects doing Chinese state propaganda. Wandering Earth and its sequel were both flops outside China. Nonetheless, it must be essential to keep his career floating by ass-kissing the Chinese authorities more or less. LOL.
