At this point when it’s a two-for-two occurrence of having a hit drama followed by scandal I suggest Kim Sun Ho either go to an exorcist to excise the bad luck or else just do small indie projects with no change of becoming popular. This week it was reported by K-ent that the actor is under investigation for alleged tax evasion. This comes one week after news that Cha Eun Woo is under tax evasion investigation. The underlying issue is the same, the formation of a personal company with a family member as the director and using it to receive entertainment activity payments at a lower tax rate. Both actors are under Fantagio entertainment as well so hhhhmmmm on that. Fantagio did receive a penalty for Cha Eun Woo reportedly, while Kim Sun Ho’s is reportedly still being investigated, and Fantagio released a statement for Kim Sun Ho that the actor did not do anything wrong and there was no tax evasion and his personal agency was opened for his own theater related activities. Kim Sun Ho had his dating scandal blow up after his hit with Hometown Cha Cha Cha four years ago, and now just following the popular reception for Can This Love be Translated he’s dealing with a tax evasion allegation. It’s like the man is cursed with the worst timing.
