Kim Sun Ho Allegedly Under Investigation for Tax Evasion Following Cha Eun Woo as Agency Fantagio Denies Any Wrongdoing — 22 Comments

  1. South Korea has been in economic owes recently. Now it seems their tax dept. is following President Lee’s master China to target the wealthy for treasury shortage. lol. Expect more K-ent celebs to come in spot light of alleged tax scrutiny! Whichever countries get close to CCP China, they won’t do well in economy consequently. lol.

    • Imagine being this obsessed with China that you are blaming them for the Korean government rightfully going after tax evasion and waving away thirteen million dollars in theft because theft is good ah. You need help.

      • LOL. I simply stated facts per how SK’s economy been performing these years since the government’s policies encouraged closer ties with China. As to initiative behind tax investigations, I certainly made a plausible speculation. But I know some Chinese ppl and CCP associates don’t want to see this being exposed and would get triggered lol. Will you be honest to confess you’re one of them? lol

  2. All under the same agency? Hmm 🤔 But they are not as harsh as China where they simply blacklist them for life as an entertainer for this issue though. It gives them a bad rep but not much else than that no? What would be the ramifications though? They are still celebrities despite this.

  3. Somebody should worry more about herself being in high risk of getting deported by ICE 🤭 Maybe that’s why she fervently criticizes China and C-ent online to show her allegiance, but little does she know, her white masters will never see her as one of them. 🤣

  4. I heard Kim Sunho’s tax evasion is more serious than Cha Eunwoo’s though the amount is lesser. Apparently he didn’t register his single-person corporation for some mandatory license and the “office location” is his house.

    • Yeah, it is also worse in a sense since his previous agency claim they know nothing about this and only complied when ksh asked for the money to be deposited to a company account.

Also fantagio haven’t denied the fact his father and mother used the company card for entertainment (on accusation articles it says father used it for room salon). It remains to be seen if those activities also actively reduce the tax required to pay

Wildest speculation is actually about that room salon thing, he is really hated in sk but still got lot of project. Knetz are saying there might be bribery involved around that room salon

      • Yeah, and he’s also suspected of paying his parents millions of won in salaries through the paper company.

  5. Apparently everything has been explained by his agency moments ago, from what I read it seems there’s nothing to worry about and there is no intention of him to get lower tax. And his contracts with fantagio is also processed to his personal account and not to the company in questions, so from my point of view he’s not trying to dodge the high tax, because if his intention is to dodge the tax, he would ask his agency to process his payment to the company right? In order to get lower tax. Just my 2cents, trying to see this in an obejctive way.

  6. Its starting to sound like either a witch hunt to Fantagio artists OR a big distraction from what is going on politically – its amazing how many nasty things slip through in the political world under the “co-incidental” cover of a scandal. When Cha Eun Woo’s scandal broke “co-incidentally” the ex-first lady had been charged/sentenced for corruption. Wonder what has happened the last couple of days….

  7. Establishing a personal paper company to process income when everything related to your acting is actually done by your agency is of course intentional tax evasion. He registered the company in his own home address, acted as the ceo himself and paid his parents (the only nominal employees) high salaries, which money was then transferred back to his own bank accounts. I guess this must have been quite common among Korean actors, but this is no excuse to say that this is not tax evasion.

  8. LOL. One one hand, the US needs highly skilled workers like me, who have been contributing tremendously to GDP. On the other hand, Lilith, the top 1 CCP lackey goofing on this site lol, has to keep her mouth foaming and delirious knowing me happy with American life that’s also celebrated with social routines messing with CCP stooges nonstop. LOL

  9. From what I read yesterday, and I try to be objectivehwre, he’s not trying to dodge the high tax, he established the company when he was free agent and when he joined Fantagio, all the payments are done to his personal account, not to the company in question. If he really try to avoid/dodge higher tax, he should ask Fantagio to make the payments transferred to his company account in order to get lower tax, right? So, I dont think he’s trying to dodge the high tax anyway.

    • Sorry l for the double comments because lately people who drop comments in Koala blog is too harsh, not only for this case anyway. It becomes uncomfortable to read sometimes. I dont understand why some people can write something so harsh.

    • He was not a free agent when he established his one man company. He was with his previous agency and asked that agency to pay fees to the one man company thus saving about 26% in tax.

  10. 🤭 Somebody is still in high denial when her job is easily replaceable by AI now. Even white citizens who contributed to the country like Good and Pretti got mercilessly dealt with, but somebody somehow thinks an asian like her would be immune 🤣 I wonder how many times had she been requested to show her id proof on the streets.

  11. Several other famous Korean actors have also ‘been done’ in the last year or two for ‘underpaying’ their taxes because of money being taxed at the corporate rate via the setting-up/operating of companies being queried. Lee Joong gi, being one of them.
I guess these companies are coming under closer scrutiny from Korean tax authorities. Some will pass as legitimately operating, others won’t, I guess.

  12. Haha my profession is among the pioneers utilizing AI the most! AI has been a good pal of me in my daily life managing a lot of trivia. Certainly, a brutal fact to Lilith the CCP stooge like this won’t stop her from seething and spouting against western civilization in vain cuz she can only hide herself acting as a Chinese sleeper cell in her 3rd-world dungeon. lol. Keep crying and your delusion alive forever and ever! lol

  13. 😂 Lmao who doesn’t use AI in their work now, doesn’t change the fact that somebody’s job is still easily replaceable by AI. And lol at her dragging the rest of the “western civilization” down with her when she can’t even form a coherent sentence in English.

I wonder how many times have she been asked to show her citizen proof while on her way to work today? 🤭

  14. LOL. Lilith the CCP #1 minion is more likely a tech illiterate based upon her dimwitted comment trolling social media. Lilith knows nothing about coding or statistics but has been rambling nonstop even about AI? LMAO. Lilith is getting delirious. Certainly her untamed mental gymnastics doesn’t help either. Lilith the CCP clown, plz Keep swinging on the high bar that you have no control to get off!!!! rofl
