Third set is not the charm for me as my burgeoning excitement for upcoming tvN sageuk drama Arthdal Chronicles (Asadal Chronicle) took a pause with the release of first stills with female lead Kim Ji Won. I liked her a lot as the second female lead in Descendants of the Sun even though she wasn’t super believable as a medical … Continue reading →
Looks like K-actor Ji Chang Wook is not climbing aboard a spaceship headed for the star but will instead climb into a cryogenic pod to get frozen. The mere days from military discharge actor has confirmed his first army project as the K-drama Melt Me over the other offer to headline City of Stars. The drama is penned by the … Continue reading →
The end of the road is near for Park Yoochun‘s current legal saga and it may be the last the public will hear of him going forward. After testing positive for meth during last week’s police investigation into alleged drug use after being ratted out by his also arrested former fiancee Hwang Hana, agency CJE&S has terminated its contract with … Continue reading →
The comeback has officially started for C-actress Fan Bing Bing after the most extreme fall from grace last year I’ve ever seen out of C-ent. The former top movie actress and CF model in all of China found herself as the face of celebrity tax evasion in 2018 and became the poster child for the government to use to set … Continue reading →
There may be another addition to the C-actress baby watch group and it’s none other than married just last year Tang Yan. She tied the know in fall of 2018 with a lavish overseas fairy tale prince and princess themed wedding with frequent drama costar Luo Jin, and the two have remained lovey dovey since with plenty of affectionate moments … Continue reading →
One does wonder why disgraced K-star Park Yoochun doth protest too much, even insofar as to hold a press conference tearfully proclaiming his innocence on drug use allegations. He of all people knew whether he used or not, and now he’s looking like a giant hypocrite liar on top of being an alleged drug user. Police have announced that Yoochun’s … Continue reading →
My attention is captivated 100% and loving every single picture in this just released Bazaar Korea pictorial featuring Song Hye Kyo and lots of pretty shoes and outfits. She’s clearly sporting extensions since in real life her hair is still shoulder length after lopping it off last year for tvN romance drama Encounter (Boyfriend) but the extra length and volume … Continue reading →
The drama casting agents are working overtime to land K-actor Ji Chang Wook and honestly I don’t blame them. He left for the military two years ago on a positive note with thriller drama The K2 and the cult hit Healer before that. He’s got the versatile repertoire of sageuk to family drama to action flick to melodrama and is … Continue reading →
There’s positive K-drama news to report this week, with the conclusion of SBS Fri-Sat drama The Fiery Priest going out strong hitting 22.0% AGB nationwide for the final hurrah. There’s likely going to be a sequel as well as the last scene was a prescient We Will Be Back note with plenty of laughs to go along. The Fiery Priest … Continue reading →
The colors of spring are nicely represented at K-actress Park Shin Hye‘s event this weekend for Mamonde skincare. She’s been the face of the brand for many years and the youthful collection found a great spokeswoman in her. She’s lightened her hair color even more for the spring but keeping it the short bob she’s sported since February. It’s cute … Continue reading →
The upcoming saguel drama Asadal Chronicles may not foster second male lead syndrome as much as antagonist shipping syndrome. The first pictures are out of Jang Dong Gun playing the head honcho baddie going up against Song Joong Ki‘s destined warrior king and my my my did my heart skip a beat when I saw his full bearded and flowing … Continue reading →
It’s time to rejoice or say meh depending on how you view this pairing. Top stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are confirmed for the upcoming romance drama by screenwriter Park Ji Eun who wrote You From Another Star, The Producers, and Legend of the Blue Sea. The drama will film overseas on the United States as well as … Continue reading →
I think four months may just be the sufficient amount of time to get over hard loving and then hard hating a live watched drama experience. The feelings are so strong that the ending leaves an exhausted void and requires some distance to see if the opinions have changed after the initial rush. Objectively I still think Memories of Alhambra … Continue reading →
