The first teaser is out for tvN romance drama Crash Landing into You (Crash Landed Love) and boy is it a heap of soaring romance crammed into 30 short seconds. I can hear the rivers of tears to come and feel the choir bells ringing as the lovers who have braved a wide divide to find each other are ultimately … Continue reading →
Work is a great activity when one has personal life down periods and Song Joong Ki dove right into filming for upcoming mega budget K-movie The Victory(Spaceship Victory)at the start of his divorce proceedings earlier this summer. The divorce was a quickie pre-negotiated one that took about a month to be rubber stamped and since then he’s still filming the … Continue reading →
Now this is what I consider a perfect look for K-actress Song Hye Kyo. She recently attended a Chaumet event wearing a black evening gown with pleated sleeves, a square neck, ribbon cinched waist, flowing into a sleek A-line length. I think the black is what prevents this dress from being too prom princessy and adds a edgier element. Her … Continue reading →
My feelings about KBS Wed-Thurs drama When the Camellia Blooms is ambivalent hence the lack of posts on it. K-viewers are really enjoying it outright and ratings have gone one way up since it premiered with the most recent episode reaching 16.9%, the first for a prime time drama this year. I think the drama is very well written, with … Continue reading →

The trend of sue netizens over baseless and/or defamatory rumor spreading has spread to China as well, as this week C-actress Liu Shi Shi won a civil lawsuit against a netizen who spread a pretty awful rumor about her. In April of 2018, a post online said that Liu Shi Shi cheated, got caught, and is carrying another man’s child. … Continue reading →
KBS drama The Tale of Nokdu is seriously way better than it projected on the premise alone and I was good with a silly and fun cross-dressing tale. The attrition in K-drama viewers may have led production companies to dig deep into the original well of Hallyu addiction to find something to bring them back. How else to explain upcoming tvN drama Crash Landing on You (or Crash Landed Love) where the female lead parachutes onto the male lead and love ensues, because wasn’t that Successful Story of … Continue reading →
It’s been over 20 years since Jeon Ji Hyun debuted but she still makes everything she does seem fresh and captivating. This fall Marie Claire Korea jewelry pictorial is supposed to be about the baubles but it’s really all eyes on her. She poses so alive whether it’s an eyebrow arch, an extra stare in her eye, the way her … Continue reading →
I love chocolate and I know this upcoming K-drama Chocolate is exactly my taste bud. It stars two of my faves Ha Ji Won and Yoon Kye Sang, in a sure to be warm and weepy romance drama, penned by one of my favorite screenwriters Lee Kyung Hee. Sure I dislike half of what she wrote but the other half … Continue reading →
The premise of MBC drama People With Flaws is solely predicated on the acting and chemistry. It’s basically opposites attract and insert profession/situation/coincidence to bring them together. I don’t know how the mixture of Ahn Jae Hyun and Oh Yeon Seo will turn out but he underacts and she overacts so maybe together they will be just right. I’m more … Continue reading →
