I love me some perfectly tailored Ermenegildo Zegna for my man so I’m familiar with their classic suiting and accessories and find myself rather amused at the brand’s casual offerings. It’s time for the men to walk the brand red carpet as the ladies do it more often with plenty of hits and misses. Joo Ji Hoon was the standout … Continue reading →
The height differential between movie costars Kim Young Kwang and Park Bo Young still makes my eyes smile when I see them. The two are headlining the summer rom-com flick On Your Wedding Day which looks standard cute growing pains in love fare and the only unique element is finding the tallest male actor in K-ent second to Kwang Soo … Continue reading →
Lovers of shoujo manga will really get a kick out of seeing Park Bo Young and Kim Young Kwang at the press conference for this upcoming rom-com film On Your Wedding Day. He is easily two feet taller than her and their chemistry is straight out of shouja manga he looks down adoringly and she gazes at him sweetly type. … Continue reading →
The Mon-Tues slot is about to get a much needed refresher but sadly it won’t be my favorite battle to the death when three new prime time dramas premiere at the same time. Next week comes the first showdown between Fight My Way with Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won against Lookout with Kim Young Kwang and Lee Shi … Continue reading →
I’m way more fascinated by the fashion, mostly lack thereof, parade at the VIP movie premiere for the thriller movie Fabricated City than I am in the actual movie. Starring Ji Chang Wook and Shim Eun Kyung, the movie is a cross between wrongfully accused of murder Defendant and Healer‘s computer hacking and chase thrills. The trailer looks sleek enough … Continue reading →
It’s goodbye adorable young love sageuk Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, which ended this week, and hello cohabitation rom-com The Man Living in Our House, which takes over the Mon-Tues time slot on KBS. Starring Su Ae as a bumpy in love flight attendant returning to her deceased mom’s house, Kim Young Kwang is her leading man as the young guy … Continue reading →
Leave it to Su Ae to appear so effortlessly a rom-com female lead when she’s been away from the genre for nearly a decade which has been spent doing dark melo roles. She’s back in fine form in the first stills and teaser for upcoming KBC drama The Man Living in Our House which takes over from Moonlight Drawn by … Continue reading →
There will be a contrasting selection of Mon-Tues K-dramas coming in late fall, and which one piques your interest may depend on mood as the casting has been finalized and both are packed with plenty of talent. Arriving first at the end of October after Moonlight Drawn by Clouds will be KBSÂ drama The Man Living in Our House, with Soo … Continue reading →
Nine years isn’t super long but it feels like forever when one is stuck in the world of intense melodramas. That’s the case with K-actress Su Ae who is making her drama comeback this fall with the KBS Mon-Tues rom-com The Man Living in Our House. She’s been doing dramas consistently but all her works in the last nine years … Continue reading →
For years I’ve been seeing these types of pre-star pictures floating around here and there, and finally decided to collect as many as I can into one post. Half of it is for my own viewing lulz and the other half is to share since so many folks like one or more of these K-actors. This collection of school-aged pictures … Continue reading →
Consider me optimistically impressed with the latest round of substantive peeks at upcoming jTBC disaster drama D-Day. Just the concept alone is worth checking out, leaving the typical K-drama genres behind and embracing a gritty urgent story about medical professionals responding to a major disaster striking Seoul. US shows have done this to death and back but K-dramas rarely tread … Continue reading →
I was initially not all that interested in upcoming cable network jTBC disaster drama D-Day, it sounded too ambitious for the ability of K-dramas to wrangle and the cast was decent without including a single must watch actor or actress for me. Starring Jung So Min, Kim Young Kwang, Ha Suk Jin, Kim Jung Hwa, and Sungyeol of INFINIITE, the … Continue reading →
Real life good friends Lee Soo Hyuk and Kim Young Kwang have basically the exact same career trajectory. Both are models turned actors and currently reside comfortably in second lead territory in dramas and supporting roles in movies. That’s not a bad place to be, but if they aspire to reach higher then both need to look no further than … Continue reading →
