The lowkey Taiwanese way of stars just getting married continues and this week it’s TW-actor cutie Lego Lee. He announced on his SNS that he’s married, and it’s such a sweet message. He’s tied the knot with his girlfriend of 16 years, a non-celebrity who is a dancer. They met in college and dated throughout his entire acting career, which of course included plenty of tabloid gossip about Lego being involved with some of his former costars. Turns out that was all conjecture and he was in a long haul relationship and didn’t need to bandy it about for media coverage. Congrats to the newlyweds and I’m still an ardent fan of Lego and can’t wait to keep watching his career progression.

I still remain impressed that there are ladies out there willing to suffer and endure in silence as their man pursues an entertainment career telling the world he’s single. Most famous being Wu Zun‘s high school sweetheart and wife and … Continue reading
I’m so excited for a new TW-drama to look forward to, and while the industry has many new faces I’m forever partial to the familiar ones that I’ve loved for the last decade. A fave pairing of mine is reuniting … Continue reading
My favorite currently airing TW-drama is the mellow and underrated Love @ Seventeen, not one of the buzzy SETTV offerings but airing on TTV on Saturday nights without too much fanfare. I checked in for the pairing of leads Lego … Continue reading
Either Lego Lee knows he owes me big time for two crappy dramas in a row, or he just likes to work, whatever the reason I’m not looking a gift horse in the mouth and will just squee with excitement. … Continue reading
A new year doesn’t mean only doing new things, there’s still plenty of reason to take a break for a nostalgic reunion. At the recent SETTV banquet awards, a few of my fave and fond Taiwan drama pairings made time to … Continue reading
The star weddings coming out of Taiwan and China these past few years have been heading in the more and more extravagant direction, and that may all be thanks to megastar Jay Chou‘s English castle wedding to Hannah Quinlivan starting … Continue reading
I already like what I’m seeing in the previews for upcoming SETTV Friday night drama, other than male lead Lego Lee’s orange hair updo style and wishing the drama could have a less generic English title. The network and it’s … Continue reading
My wait for Lego Lee to return to the small screen will soon be satisfied when upcoming SETTV Friday night drama Love Cuisine (Chinese title Cuisine High School Student) premieres next week. For starters, this one already looks better than … Continue reading
What’s cute even dressed in all green and it’s not even Saint Patrick’s Day as an excuse? Lego Lee, of course! He’s one of the cutest TW-actors ever, with none of the bad boy aura and appeal yet when he … Continue reading
It was a seismic day yesterday with the United States Supreme Court finally issuing the definitive opinion on the right to gay marriage in the United States. Beyond the elation for the US LBGTQ community, as a lawyer I was … Continue reading
I’m always sad to move on from a favorite drama, character, or pairing. The nostalgic sadness is hammered home when the actor or actress sheds the look of the character from the drama. It’s been a nearly a year since … Continue reading
It’s Lunar New Year on February 19th this year, much later than the usual early February or late January dates during most years. That’s because the Lunar calender only has 30 days in every month so after a few years … Continue reading
