Park Eun Bin Becomes Weird Lawyer Woo Young Woo Opposite Kang Tae Oh and Kang Ki Young in Summer 2022 Legal K-drama

So I was curious about this drama’s final casting and checked out the specs only to be surprised that it’s supposed to air in June 2022. That’s like a two weeks to six weeks away depending on when in the month and so far it’s been crickets on it. So it’s likely not coming in June but sometime later in the summer when we will see Weird Lawyer Woo Young Woo being, well, weird onscreen. Weird as in she’s got Aspergers but graduated top of her class at Seoul National University law and tries to balance her legal acumen with awkward interpersonal skills. Basically the legal version of The Good Doctor. Park Eun Bin steps into the lead role and joining her as male leads are Kang Tae Oh and Kang Ki Young, a solid cast. The script is from the screenwriter of the K-movie Innocent Witness with the PD of Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim, Vagabond, Mrs. Cop, and You’re All Surrounded.

  2. It’s airing on the newly-relaunched channel ENA (formerly Sky), hence the lack of buzz. If it will be the replacement of the currently-airing There is No Goo Pil-soo (starring Kwak Do-won and Yoon Doo-joon), then Woo Young-woo should air on the last week of June. Jung Il-woo and Yuri’s reunion project Good Job will likely follow in August.

Note though that Goo Pil-soo’s rating around 0.5% at the moment. Still better than the 0.3% ratings of Crime Puzzle (starring Yoon Gye-sang, Go Ah-sung) last year.
