It’s been six months since two high profile A-list Korean acting couples were revealed. Since then its been radio silence from both sets, which doesn’t surprise me since it’s easy to stay on the down low when we’re talking very well-connected and influential folks are involved. Not to mention all four of them are industry veterans who know how to manage their own personal lives. I’m still wondering which couple caused more shock and awe with the reveal that they were dating? Won Bin and Lee Na Young? Or was it Jo In Sung revealing that he was dating Kim Min Hee right after he wrapped That Winter, the Wind Blows with Song Hye Kyo, which led to scores of shipper fans with their hopes dashed. For me it was definitely the reclusive Won Bin dating the low-key Lee Na Young, that one came out of left field. And maybe even left field from another field entirely. Jo In Sung and Kim Min Hee was unexpected, but I never thought he had anything going on with Song Hye Kyo from TWTWB so it was more trying to figure out if Kim Min Hee has a type since she’s previously dated movie star Lee Jung Jae and model-actor Lee Soo Hyuk. Both couples are in their thirties so I’m assuming its relatively serious and with the latest news reports about taking romantic overseas trips together, probably intended for the long haul. Won Bin and Lee Na Young were rumored to have traveled to Paris at the end of September for work and play, he had a magazine shoot and she accompanied him to make it a couple holiday. They belong to the same agency, which confirmed the trip and said that the couple was very happy together and asked fans for their support and encouragement. Whenever I think of K-couples in Paris, I immediately flash back to two years ago when Jung Woo Sung and Lee Ji Ah were snapped by paparazzi in Paris holding hands while strolling the boulevards, which led to the outing of their short-lived romance. Jo In Sung and Kim Min Hee were also reported to have traveled together, for them it was to Hawaii in September for a getaway, but their agencies have thus far not commented on this. It’s likely true since fans spotted them in Hawaii, with Jo In Sung so tall he’s really hard to miss.

My personal opinion is that Won Bin and Lee Na Young are likely headed down the aisle in the next two years, probably aiming to have the same type of career and power couple marriage as Jang Dong Gun and Go So Young. As for Jo In Sung and Kim Min Hee, I wouldn’t hold my breath for it to go all the way, but stranger things have happened. Seeing the news media putting both couples pictures side by side, I can even visually imagine if the pairs were swapped and still find them all quite appealing.
