I much appreciate an unexpected collaboration when it’s sweet and nostalgic. SNSD‘s Yoona made a surprise guest starring appearance in the just released MV for popular C-actor Li Yi Feng‘s latest single “Please Contact Me”. The song is part of the OST for his recently released romantic C-movie Fall in Love with a Star costarring Yang Mi. I’m not terribly chafing for the movie but I was a super eager potato to check just this song and the accompanying MV with Yoona. Li Yi Feng is one of my first C-ent loves and he started out as a singer before toiling away for years in smaller C-dramas and only hit it big two years ago with fantasy wuxia drama Ancient Sword Legend. His ballad singing always hits the spot for me and this song is no exception, with bonus points for going out to Prague to film on location and picking pretty Yoona as his MV leading lady.
