Yoo Sun Receives High Praise for Delivering Intense Entitled Rich Bitch Role in tvN Makjang Drama Eve

Quite a few K-actresses have made a mark playing a crazy type character and it’s almost always a uber rich and powerful crazy wife or daughter type role in a makjang or melodrama story line. K-actress Yoo Sun went from playing many a supporting roles over two decades to a big break in currently airing tvN drama Eve thanks to landing the plum role of Han So Ra. She’s vicious, violent, abusive, entitled, and nothing is off limits for what she can do if she’s pissed is the general takeaway. She’s gotten rave reviews from critics and netizens alike and a big reason for the drama being an addicting watch to wait and see her get the ultimate comeuppance. I have thoroughly enjoyed scene cuts of her over-the-top reactions and also the drama stills are always a hoot because she’s either constipated in coiled anger or freaking out and ready to burst a gall bladder type expression. This is the definition of throwing oneself into the role 110%.

Isn’t it overacting to the point of caricature? And every entitled heiress is depicted that way, there is no subtlety, no nuance, all very gangster like. And Eve as a series is so laborious to watch. It feels burdensome, feels cartoonish and very silly.
I’m so glad yoo sun is getting praises, even ranking in most buzz worthy actress, I hope she gets nominated for best supporting actress, she is amazing to watch and has so much chemistry with SYJ.
The role is too reminiscent of her character from Goddess of Revenge… an entitled chaebol who throws a tantrum because she isn’t getting the respect she deserves from her father since she was born a woman.
Yoo Sun is amazing here.
Even co-star Lee Sang Yeob said YS is just awesome in the drama and asked viewers to watch out for her acting.

Lol, exactly. Now where is that Sirey clown who was bragging about how this 2-3% flop will shut a lot of mouths? Her scandal queen has been overshadowed and outshone by the supporting actress and the ratings keep sinking like the Titanic so she’s disappeared now. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
