SBS opened it’s official website for Faith yesterday and the first set of available drama descriptions are accompanied by an official look at leads Lee Min Ho and Kim Hee Sun in character. I’ll wait until the drama releases official drama posters since these are just background sets, but I’m still sticking by my original observation that Kim Hee Sun … Continue reading →
Camping! Who else is getting a flashback to City Hall? YY? It’s all good, because if any scene in Big can evoke a memory from my favorite K-drama, then I say the drama is on the right track in giving me OTP goodness. I have to laugh at how the folks who don’t like this drama feel the need to … Continue reading →
The awesome that will be the Rurouni Kenshin movie knows no bounds. The final two-minute long movie trailer has just been released and sometime between dinner and now I scraped my jaw off the floor to write up this post. Check out my post on the teaser trailer here from a few months ago, because this tops that and then … Continue reading →
Big has been discombobulating since it started, with even my own re-adjusted expectations keep being taken for a ride. When I watched episode 11, I wondered why so little happened. But in recapping it, I realized a lot happened, just not those big plot reveals everyone has been clamoring for. Do we really need major shocking plot events to render … Continue reading →
Major spoiler pictures have leaked for episode 12 of Big, which strangely doesn’t get me all insane with glee. Don’t get me wrong, it’s beyond awesome, but Big appears to have trained me not to expect the squeeworthy moments but instead revel in the littlest touches between the OTP. My heart hurts in a good way watching Kyung Jae be … Continue reading →
Oh Big, why you have to twist my heart into knots? I’ve said that I will be patient, let you tell your story at your slower pace, but dang it I don’t deal well with revelations from all sides that are thisclose to getting discovered. Everyone has converged in Seoul and suspicions and questions are arising all around. When the … Continue reading →
Ring Ring Bell was so so beyond stupid, but I still fondly remember it for all the positive things it got right. It was lovely in that slightly dreamy romantic way, leads Janine Chang and Peter Ho looked delicious together and had combustible chemistry, and the OST was stellar. Too bad the story was atrocious, rendering all that great lead … Continue reading →
For the first time ever, I’m more interested in a K-drama for its child cast than adult one. Which is a good thing, because the upcoming 32-episode MBC weekend drama May Queen appears to have a expansive child cast that will likely take up multiple episodes worth of setting the stage for the adult story. I’ve been a fan of Kim … Continue reading →
What’s Gong Yoo doing with a frying pan? You’ll have to wait until episode 11 of Big to see, but the teaser stills released by KBS show us that he’s not intending to bean an intruder with it. I’ve always loved couples who fall in love when not trying and simply spending time together doing normal things. Not necessarily hating … Continue reading →
What can I say? Gorgeous is as gorgeous does. Ariel Lin pairing with Kim Bum for Eichitoo is the sort of dream I used to think only happened in an alternate universe. Eichitoo released a boatload of pictures of Ariel and Bummie gamely and glamorously modeling their wares. After watching the BTS videos and sneak peaks at the CF, I’m … Continue reading →
When I wrote about the upcoming C-drama SOP Queen with Chen Qiao En and Hans Zhang last week, I was surprised it garnered so much interest, with folks wanting to know when it’ll air. I thought towards the end of the year, but lo and behold, this drama just got kicked up the roster and will air next week following the … Continue reading →
Kyaaaaa~ I can’t believe there are only six more episodes of Big left! How come KBS gave Bridal Mask an extension and can’t do the same for wuri Big? Yeah yeah, ratings schmatings. Ratings are pffffft in my eyes, as long as the drama makes my heart sing, then I’ll shower it with my love. The picture above is part … Continue reading →
The first stills are out of Park Shin Hye in the KBS drama special Don’t Worry I’m a Ghost. She looks so adorable it just makes me even more curious about how this drama will turn into. Something quirky and fun? Bong Tae Kyu is a great choice to play the leading man since he’s hardly conventionally handsome so we’ll … Continue reading →
