I think its safe to say that a Lee Seung Gi wave of love is about to be unleashed here at the playground. Despite his busy filming schedule for The King 2 Hearts, the baby boy of endorsement deals in South Korea continues to squeeze in time for his various other gigs (though he’s no longer doing Strong Heart or … Continue reading →
Ooof, this chapter hurts. This chapter of Yun Zhong Ge really really hurts. I think this kind of heartbreak cuts to the core even worse than what Yu Er must’ve felt when Jiu Ye was rejecting her over and over again. Yun Ge finally learns the truth about Meng Jue, and then sees with her own eyes a moment that … Continue reading →
Squeeeeee! Two of my favoritest stars together in one event in NYC? I’m soooo bitter I wasn’t there to stalk them, but seeing the pictures of Jung Woo Sung and Yoon Eun Hye at the Cartier event in NYC is good enough for me. I wonder why I’ve never ever thought about them doing a project together? Well now I … Continue reading →
Potential new C-couple alert! After a few months of fan sightings and media speculation, the not-yet-confirmed couple of Han Geng and Kiton Jiang continue their game of no-comment to the press. I’ve heard about this new couple for a few months now, but I was waiting to get more confirmation before posting about it. This week Han Geng stormed off … Continue reading →
You can give this to the Hong Sisters, they have yet to do a drama that flat out sucks. I’m iffy about half their projects, but its more along the lines that it doesn’t work for me cohesively, but I can see why others love it. Every time they announce a new project, I find myself intrigued and excited, even … Continue reading →
I came into The King 2 Hearts because of my Ha Ji Won love, and it looks like I’m going to leave it with a massive affection for Lee Seung Gi. I’m so glad I don’t have to suffer through another dud drama of Ji Won’s like her last one, complete with her worst performance to date, and can enjoy … Continue reading →
I want now. Okay, that was a bit rude. How about this – I really need this please, good sir. The upcoming reunited-twins-C-drama Fairytale starring Lee Joon Hyuk, Janine Chang, and Peer Zhu released a 30-minute trailer that had me glued to the screen. It wasn’t good, per se, it was just drama crack. Complete with a horrific Cousin It … Continue reading →
The Korean trickle towards Chinese dramas has become a flood at this point. If your favorite K-actor or actress disappears from the K-ent news cycle for some time, chances are that he or she is making a C- or TW-drama. No joke, I can count over a dozen dramas being made or airing right now with K-stars in the lead. … Continue reading →
Who’s cried today? You can’t have watched today’s episode 7 and 8 of The King 2 Hearts without crying at some point. I really lost it during the moment when Jae Ha was taking off his tux and thinking back to his moments with Jae Kang. I so wanted to hug my all grown up puppy at that moment, but … Continue reading →
This recap was hard to write, since its hard to process dialogue and write when one is sobbing like a loony. So much happened in one episode, yet it was shockingly low key. I don’t know if the writers intended it this way, but even the most shocking or drama altering plot turn felt muted, controlled, stoic almost. But it … Continue reading →
After chapters worth of Yun Ge and Meng Jue’s are-they-are-they-not dance around each other, finally their relationship moves from nebulous to official. I can see how happy she is, having let go of the fantasy Ling gege inside her heart and accepted the real person in front of her. But just because Meng Jue came clean with Huo Cheng Jun … Continue reading →
This story gets cuter every time Ariel is asked about it, and the TW-media is all over it right now. Ariel Lin has been even more of a media darling since her hit drama In Time With You really connected with viewers and critics alike. Folks were sad when she announced she would not do any more dramas due to … Continue reading →
Just a reminder that there is no new episode of The King 2 Hearts today, as episode 7 is being preempted for elections and will air tomorrow back-to-back with episode 8. SBS is doing the same thing for Rooftop Prince, but KBS remains the lone channel of the three to maintain its regular programming. My gut tells me The Equator … Continue reading →
