I knew this movie was coming out soon, but I didn’t realize that it held its VIP premiere last night until I read that Moon Geun Young had attended the event. I am a bad movie buff these days. Sigh, dramas, what’chu doing to me! The cast and crew of the upcoming movie Children held its star-studded VIP premiere last … Continue reading →
Do not click on the jump unless you want to be spoiled. Just warning you. I can tell you that I cried – cried real tears of joy when I saw these pictures. Squealing is for chumps, I jumped up, did fifty fist pumps, and then roared like a lion. There, top that, peeps! My Princess, you are my precious … Continue reading →
Nice, very nice indeed. A day after news was released that Jang Geun Seok was releasing his first solo album, his pre-sales are already ranked #1 on Japan’s HMV website. Ahead of both TVXQ and JYJ (you know, formerly DBSK/Tohoshinki – the biggest K-idol group to cross over into Japan, but now split into two, with Yunho and Changmin helming … Continue reading →
They look really good together. That was the first thought going through my mind when I saw the first stills released by KBS for their upcoming Wed-Thurs drama The Thorn Birds (also referred to as Thorn Three Bird). Leads Han Hye Jin and Joo Sang Wook started filming three days ago, and the stills depict their first contentious meeting whereby … Continue reading →
I think both Jang Geun Seok and Moon Geun Young are trying to kill me. Slowly. With their brand of potent onscreen chemistry and now their continued adorable wink-winks at each other. Jang Geun Seok posted an updated on his cyworld yesterday that started off with “A romance has started” and then followed by a “just kidding!”. You are such a … Continue reading →
My Princess may be all about the OTP, but Dream High is all about the love triangle. Six episodes in, I not only haven’t and can’t pick a ship (well, I pick a ship at the end of this post, but may be subject to change), the drama is being stingy by keeping both boys on a level play field … Continue reading →
JUN KI! My Jun Ki tweeted and updated his cyworld yesterday. *cue Koala almost fainting from happiness* It’s insane how long it feels like he’s been gone, and yet he has over a year left in MS yet to go. Sobs, an entire legion of Jun Ki-fans the world over (I don’t have to tell you how many tickers I’ve … Continue reading →
My Princess is chugging along at just the right speed for me. The character interactions and plot developments feel perfectly paced. I’m neither chafing for the romantic relationship to heat up, nor bored that it’s six-episodes in and Hae Young and Seol aren’t making kissy kissy yet. For whatever reason, I feel like a content passenger on the MP train, … Continue reading →
Dream High is really heating up – both in terms of the pursuit of your musical dreams plotline, and the love triangle plotline. While Jin Gook is going through the ringer, it looks like Sam Dong grows some intensity, and if I were Hye Mi, I’d just sit back and watch the sparks fly. Damn girl, you gotz two amazing guys … Continue reading →
This comes as no surprise, but it’s still a treat to finally hear confirmation: actor Jang Geun Seok will be officially debuting as a singer this year. After months of speculation about the when, wheres, and hows, news reports in Japan have confirmed that Jang Geun Seok will be releasing his first solo album on March 23, 2011, and following that … Continue reading →
Update: Jung Woo Sung and co-star Jung Chan Woo have both been discharged from the hospital after suffering an on-set injury while filming an action sequence in Athena: Goddess of War. Producers have clarified that initial news reports that listed both actors as seriously injured were in fact incorrect, though both did require emergency medical assistance. Jung Woo Sung suffered … Continue reading →
Breaking news: Jung Woo Sung was seriously injured on the set of Athena: Goddess of War, along with another co-star, and both were rushed to the emergency room. The van they were riding in while shooting an action sequence was involved in an accident, and my I Lub You suffered an injury to the leg while the other co-star Jung … Continue reading →
I’m a glass half-full type of person. But I’m also a rubber-necking train wreck type of person. In my excitement over my latest shiny toys dramas My Princess and Dream High, I figure I should also give another premiering Mon-Tues drama a chance, if only purely out of my morbid fascination with how much this drama looks like crap. The … Continue reading →
