In another sad new development in the Lee Seon Kyun investigation and suicide case, last week his elderly father was revealed to have passed away. It was of natural causes but it’s hard not to imagine the grief he must have been dealing with since Lee Seon Kyun passed away three months ago. There is just so much tragedy in … Continue reading →

Starring Hu Yi Tian and Zhang Jing Yi, the drama is about the female lead from a well-do-to family who steps up to build a family business and take … Continue reading →
Since the world of CFs and brand endorsements live and die by buzz, stars do need to capitalize when hot and accept it when not. Last week Han So Hee had two of her brand endorsements end without renewing, and one of them was a big soju brand which has now selected Kim Ji Won as its new spokesmodel. Kim … Continue reading →
If there ever was an attention seeking person then Kim Sae Ron would appear to fit that definition. Days after causing a ruckus in K-ent with her 1 am posting of a picture with Kim Soo Hyun where they were in close contact and then deleting it immediately, the former actress first issued a statement that she was preparing her … Continue reading →
Well this is certainly a different lead casting than the usual circuit of names and I’m going to keep my mind open especially with the female lead. Production has kicked off for the period C-drama Noble Lady (Gui Nu) starring Chen Du Ling and Xin Yun Lai. She’s leveling up after multiple guest starring and second female lead roles and … Continue reading →
So I think the whole fallout with C-actress Ren Min and her period visuals (or lack thereof) with last year’s xianxia C-drama The Longest Promise was after she had filmed additional period dramas. Since then I don’t believe she’s accepted another period role and looks like it’s intentionally not going to happen anymore. She’s currently in the period drama White … Continue reading →
I like Park Hyung Sik but he has so many mid K-dramas and only the occasional hit that I’m left wondering if it’s his inability to pick scripts or its himself. I totally dropped his last drama Dr. Slump with Park Shin Hye even though I liked it well enough at the beginning it just didn’t hook me and that … Continue reading →
So the brief downfall of Angelababy after her Crazy Horse show attendance last year did leave a spot for aspiring C-actresses to try and land roles and CFs and brad invites. But unfortunately for C-actress Ju Jing Yi there was also the spot for worst C-actress ever and now she’s been slotted in as the next Angelababy. I have to … Continue reading →

The fandom fights are breaking out and could be way more interesting that then actual drama lol. The C-drama The First Frost started filming recently and this week released the first posters along with the confirmed casting of leads Bai Jing Ting and Zhang Ruo Nan. This drama is more buzzed about than usual because the story is from the … Continue reading →
So it wasn’t the best weekend for C-actress Zhao Lu Si but at least se wasn’t trying to play it safe. Zhao Lu Si was in Macau attending a brand CF event and ended up getting dragged through the C-netizen snarky critique circuit for her entire look. From the long messy hair to the unattractive makeup job to the awkward … Continue reading →
So this whole situation makes me appreciate how professional and positive Dilraba Dilmurat is, I don’t find her a really good actress but she’s got a reputation for being a beloved star in C-ent for a reason. Her currently filming C-drama Love on the Turquoise Land was supposed to star Chen Zhe Yuan and it was a done deal. Then … Continue reading →
So the trajectory of tvN drama Queen of Tears remains on pace to join the network’s pantheon of top 10 K-dramas of all time, and maybe even higher on the list than that. It helps that the two leads excellent acting and chemistry is coupled with a broader storyline about her health and also the quartet of sneaky villains that … Continue reading →
