Normally C-ent speculation has been relegated to the basement of reputable reporting, normally with no basis and tons of wild leaps of conjecture from point A to Z. But then C-ent hit the biggest breakup of the year on the head a good 6 months earlier that Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki was having problems all startin from … Continue reading →
Another actress got married recently and she’s firmly got a toehold in Hollywood as well as her home industry. South Korean actress Claudia Kim (Soo Hyun) best known still for being in Avengers: Age of Ultron, got married last week in Seoul to the head of WeWorks Korea. Everyone’s assuming he’s loaded, and he may very well be, but the … Continue reading →
The boys of MBC high school meta manhwa drama Extraordinary You are going places and the first stop for both Lee Jae Wook and Kim Young Dae will be the set of romance drama When the Weather is Good I’ll Come Find You starring Park Min Young and Seo Kang Joon. As always, Park Min Young continues to collect her … Continue reading →
If Park Ji Eun wanted to package her two fantasy dramas You From Another Star and Legend of the Blue Sea into a trilogy, I would accept that Crash Landing on You would round it out despite not having any supernatural or alien beings in it. It’s so beyond the realm of possibility but delivered in a fairy tale way … Continue reading →
The parade of TW-actresses that have gotten married in the last five year is insane, and we can add Tiffany Ann Hsu to the list. Most famous in her dating life for dating Ethan Ruan for nearly 10 years and suffering through multiple cheating scandals, the last two years Tiffany has been dating fellow Yi Lin modeling agency male model … Continue reading →
Talk about counter-programming lol! K-ent is reporting that Lee Min Ho‘s high profile SBS drama The King: Eternal Sovereign penned by mega hit maker Kim Eun Sook and costarring Kim Go Eun will now be pushed from a March 2020 airing to a July 2020 premiere to give it more time in post-production. That means it will likely air opposite … Continue reading →
Man, no wonder tvN drama Crash Landing on You always sounded silly and like fan fiction type set up. Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying it so far two episodes in but goodness is the entire premise beyond stupid. South Korean chaebol daughter and fashion maven Son Ye Jin gets whisked away in a supernatural tornado while paragliding and ends … Continue reading →
This is a case of you certainly can but should you really? K-actor Ji Chang Wook, who recently wrapped the terribly bad poorly written and directed K-drama Melt Me Softly, is in the news this weekend for some personal posting decisions. He live streamed a close up of himself smoking and the response as been split as usual. Some chastise … Continue reading →
It’s not even Western New Year yet and already the promos are underway for Chinese New Year next January. H&M China is using married stars Feng Shao Feng and Zhao Li Ying as a spokescouple for the brand and released a cute picture of the two lighting fairy wands with red lanterns behind them welcoming the new year. The caption … Continue reading →
The first posters are out for January 2020 jTBC cable drama Itaewon Class and I love it! Male lead Park Seo Joon went back to his army days cropped haircut and traded his suits from Why Secretary Kim for his hardworking guy threads from Fight for My Way. Itaewon isn’t about school despite the class in the name, it centers … Continue reading →
Right now the weather is not so good, cold and dreary in the dead of winter but I’m in the mood for this kind of melancholy vibe. Not every day needs to be bright, sunny, and cheery. It will warm up in coming months and right in time for 2020 romance drama I’ll Come Find You When the Weather is … Continue reading →
I want to raise a glass to toast K-actor Lee Min Ho, he looks great in his latest pictorial for the January 2020 edition of Dazed Korea and he’s managed to survive and thrive past the early heady days of success past the bumps and missteps. Going from rookie young actor to biggest thing since sliced bread with his breakout … Continue reading →
In screenwriter Park Ji Eun‘s last two hit dramas You From Another Star and Legend of the Blue Sea, she threw in reincarnation and past lives connection for the OTP so I should be relieved she’s just going for meeting in another place earlier with Crash Landing on You. I figure she threw in North Korean military officer to underscore … Continue reading →
