There are so many streaming platforms getting into K-dramas that I’m surprised its taken Disney+ this long. The media giant has invested in a sci-fi drama called Grid (initially called Zero) from the screenwriter of Secret Forest (Stranger) 1 and 2 that has been quietly filming for the last few months with a 2022 airing date on deck. The male lead is Seo Kang Joon with female lead Kim Ah Joong and now comes news that the drama has wrapped production and on its heels that means it’s time to send another actor off to the militarty. Seo Kang Joon will be enlisting at the end of the month on November 23, 2021 and he’s really pushed his entry date to nearly the end of the time table. His agency explained that he wanted to finish this drama first before heading off and that’s understandable, it’s always good to leave a project to air during enlistment which helps shorten the period away from the public eye. Good luck to Seo Kang Joon!
