This week the Appeals Court held a hearing on his appeal of his lower court conviction for drug use and his sentence handed out of a little over a year. The prosecutors asked for the same requested sentence of … Continue reading →

It’s from the director of Bu Bu Jing Xin, Princess Agents, and Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles Peach Blossoms, and Director Lin also helmed Love and Destiny. She has two finished dramas still awaiting airing as well with The … Continue reading →
It’s confirmed! Tencent is giving C-drama fans a year end treat with the release of Guardians of the Dafeng on December 28th, as rumored. Starring Dylan Wang and Tian Xi Wei, the latest drama posters and long preview makes this drama look schizophrenic, in that the characters and storyline veers back-and-forth between wildly comedic and intensely dramatic. Plus there appears … Continue reading →
So this is a weird as heck drama title but a potentially cute as heck pairing. K-ent is reporting that Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min have been offered the leads in an upcoming SBS rom-com drama titled Marry Me in Space. It’s a fake marriage set up is all that is known about the plot, and the drama … Continue reading →
Am I excited for this movie? Oh hells yeah, but I’m also accepting that trying to create a zeitgeist is lightning in a bottle and keeping expectations low is best. The first substantive trailer is out for the lunar new year scheduled big budget big name cast Legend of the Condor Heroes: The Great Hero based on a section of … Continue reading →
Okay, I love this going against the grain even though I love one drama and legit missed watching the other which kinda validates this opinion haha. Cine21 magazine in Korea named it’s most overrated and underrated K-drama of 2024. The latter is A Virtuous Business airing on jTBC in late fall about four ladies in a small village town that … Continue reading →
I am happy to report it’s confirmed safe to watch C-drama Blossom, as the series wrapped its run for VIP members of Tencent this weekend and the ending was reportedly very satisfying. The drama also opened with 7.5 ratings on Douban confirming that the good reviews was accompanied by equally solid viewer votes on the drama’s quality. The only two … Continue reading →
This drama started filming a few months ago and should be wrapping up soon, and is slated to arrive sometime in 2025 on SBS. I’m talking about romance K-drama Our Movie, which from the synopsis feels absolutely old school Hallyu and what makes it feel fresh is leads Namgoong Min and Jeon Yeo Bin who constantly evolve in their roles … Continue reading →
When all eyes are on you then you either vault over the pressure or crumble. Such is the case with C-actor Dylan Wang and his next drama the soon-to-air Guardians of the Dafeng. C-ent insiders and his rival near age drama actors are all watching closely how this drama does, because if it’s a hit then reportedly it will send … Continue reading →
Awwwww, such a deserving recognition and a long time coming for K-actress Jang Nara. She’s been in the industry now into her third decade (23 years) and started from the cute plucky young heroines to now a wide plethora of roles and projects that show her continued acting evolution. This weekend SBS held its 2024 Drama Awards a week earlier … Continue reading →
It’s still crazy that the two biggest K-dramas of this year 2024 aired basically at the same time, with a full month overlap. I’m talking about Queen of Tears which has been confirmed by GoodData as the buzziest K-drama of the year, followed by Lovely Runner in second place. The two never didn’t air in the same time slot but … Continue reading →
So there are new posters, stills, and a first teaser out already for modern C-drama Lady Liberty (Du Shen Nu Ren 独身女人) based on the same name female-centric novel. The drama stars Tang Yan as the titular single woman or lady liberty as she embarks on a reinvention of herself after heartbreak, and is also a reinvention of her career … Continue reading →
