Upcoming SETTV Sunday night drama When I See You Again shockingly looks better than even my lowest of low expectations anticipated. Thanks to casting charisma such Mandy Wei as the female lead, even having dimpled cutie Liu Yi Hao as the male lead couldn’t get my hopes up very high. Which is why I’m the first to ready a potential … Continue reading →
The 2015 Baeksang Art Awards was held this week and the attendees and awards hand out was as expected so there wasn’t much to write about. Same goes with the fashion, no one really stood out in either extreme, just a lot of good looking people dressing fashionably appropriate for the occasion. I did love the 360 degree camera booth … Continue reading →
The wave of C-ent dating happy relationship news just keeps on chugging along. On the heels this week alone involving Yuan Hong dating Zhang Xin Yi, followed by Huang Xiaoming marrying Angelababy, good news must come in threes because the week end was capped off with China’s top movie actress Fan Bing Bing confirming that she is indeed dating rumored … Continue reading →
It’s no secret that filming in China can appear to move at super sonic speed at times, even then I’m still taken aback at how quickly projects go from commencement of filming to releasing teaser goodies for the audience. Filming started not two weeks ago for the C-movie Go Lala Go 2, the sequel to the hit rom-com Go Lala … Continue reading →
The cable dramas have been promoting better these days, even if the end quality is as hit-and-miss as the major network dramas. At least there is a bigger emphasis on packaging an overall mood of heady attraction when it comes the romance-based dramas. I still fan myself thinking back to the photo shoot Yoo Ah In and Kim Hee Ae did … Continue reading →
The train is leaving the station for upcoming K-drama Descendants of the Sun faster than Song Joong Ki changed out of his military fatigues. The cast gathered this week at KBS studios (featured prominently in currently airing KBS variety industry drama Producer) for the script reading, the arrival walk which normally isn’t covered by the media unless it involves a … Continue reading →
I can’t help getting my hopes up for upcoming tvN drama Oh My Ghost even if my better judgment tells me to simmer down. The drama came out of nowhere, since it wasn’t one of those rumored productions from months earlier, yet it quickly rocketed up my to-watch list thanks to the strength of the cast alone. Starring Jo Jung … Continue reading →
The 2015 Baeksang Art Awards was this week and the funniest bit was hands down courtesy of JYP (Park Jin Young) and Lee Min Ho. I don’t know if it was scripted by both, or one side knew but the other party was clueless, whatever led up to it the result was glorious. JYP was performing a set during the awards, … Continue reading →
What did I just say about love being in the air and more good relationship news coming this way? I actually didn’t see this one coming so quickly, figured it would be year end before these two tied the knot, so seeing the bombshell news was a fun midweek hump surprise. A-list Chinese movie star Huang Xiaoming pulled a Nicky … Continue reading →
With summer right around the corner, I like to believe love is in the air again whether for stars or regular folks alike. Hopefully there will be more good dating news to come starting with one new confirmed case involving one of my favorite actors which makes me so thrilled to hear. C-actor Yuan Hong confirmed on a variety show this … Continue reading →
This could either be taken as super cute or super nervewracking for Song Joong Ki. The young man (not a boy any longer even if he still looks like one) was released from the army this past Monday morning and on hand was not just his devoted fans and the excited K-media. Hidden in the throngs of welcomers was none … Continue reading →
It’s so nice of KBS drama Producer to give me a two-fer this week – I’ve fallen for the charms of the drama in the second week and in the third week comes a cameo by a K-star whom I love to pieces. Lee Seung Gi will be showing up in the 6th episode of the variety show drama and will … Continue reading →
I actually quite enjoy when an actor or actress I previously dismissed end up winning my affection through improving their craft. It was Kim Tae Hee in 2013 with Jang Ok Jung, Live in Love, followed by Lee Yeon Hee in 2014 for Miss Korea. This year it’s Shin Se Kyung‘s turn to take a bow and join my happy … Continue reading →
