I think snow might be a major character in the upcoming wuxia C-drama Snowy Night: Timeless Love (Seven Nights Snow) since the whole backdrop of the snowy valley and cold nights is so prominently featured in all the promos for this drama. iQiyi has scheduled Snowy Night: Timeless Love for next week October 9th premiere so it’s nice to have a higher profile new period drama arrive to kick off the fall season in earnest even if it’s fully winter themed. Starring Li Qin, Zeng Shun Xi, Wang Hong Yi, and Zeng Ke Ni, the drama is adapted from a novel about the star crossed between a top swordsman and a medicine woman healer. NLG, the promos look gorgeous and I’m leaning towards checking it out when originally hearing of the drama I was so meh about it.
