Ha Ji Won and Yoon Kye Sang Confirmed for Lee Kyung Hee-penned Romance Drama Chocolate — 14 Comments

  1. Have you seen their pics last night at baeksang arts awards? Damn their chemistry can’t deny ? So excited with Chocolate. Gonna wait for months coz i heard it will air on November.

  2. I love Ha Ji Won and couldn’t be more excited esp she’s going up a notch being paired with a more suited male lead in Yoon Kye Sang. But I am so sick and tired of the endless childhood connection in almost every single K-dramas. And now that he’s a neurosurgeon, ok, I’m getting prepared with one of them ended up dying from a brain tumour.

  3. Ha Ji Won looked sensational in a vision of pink at the Baeksang Arts Award last night. Her chemistry with Yoon Kye Sang is evident especially when he locked eyes with her at one point as they headed towards the microphone stand. Both with huge smiles on their faces. On a side note, this is also the first time that her good friend and former co-star Hyun Bin is also present at the same awards show since 2011. I love chocolates but am going to adore the drama. Shame I have wait months for it to air. Also looking forward to Collateral. Saw the pics of the script reading. Fighting my Queen. Go slay the audience.

  4. Not a fan of this writer’s work. I adore Ha Ji Won and Yoon Kye Sang and wish that they’d signed up for anyone else. The writing for Uncontrollably Fond is one of the worst I have seen in a kdrama and I’ve been watching them exclusively since 2012. And I didn’t care for Innocent Man starring Song Joong Ki and Moon Chae Won for the same reason – illogical characters and plot. This time, I hope she doesn’t throw common sense and logic out the window when she’s crafting her characters and story line.

  5. This would be a wonderful pair, you can’t deny their chemistry during the Baeksang award last night. Finally, HJW got to be pair with someone not so much younger than her, though I dont have problem with her paired with younger guys, it is just that something new 🙂

So excited for this chocolatty pairing! Please dramagod let it be a so damn good drama.

  6. OMG, HJW’s fashion stylist nailed it again. Her pink dress absolutely deserves the red carpet show off. Can even beat some Hollywood actresses at the Oscars or Golden Globe red carpets. I absolutely adore HJW. Long may her stylist live. Just go into hyper mode thinking of HJW making chocolate cakes and cookies. Maybe she can make kneading dough look super sexy. Please let it be great.

    • exactly! My thought when I saw the dress, too bad she did not walk in the red carpet. One thing, so good about it her toned muscles compliments the dress.

  7. Definitely going to watch out out for Chocolate with these two leads because I like them immensely and I’m down for a great script but am not overly keen on the whole backstory of; they met as kids lost each other then are reunited later on in life. It’s seems that some K dramas are fixated on this storyline and it’s so uneventful and boring. That’s my only reservation. Apart from that KJW welcome back you have been missed ❤️

  8. I am happy with this pairing! YKS is good in melo.
Thank goodness its NOT another noona romance.
So tired of noona romance dramas.

  9. I am very elated I get to see HJW on small screen again! Hoping it would be on Viki or Netflix co’z nowadays that the only way, I get to watched Kdrama. Read people commenting about Baeksang with HJW and YKS in it. WOW! She is pretty in pink and Yes, when they locked eyes the chemistry is there. Can’t wait….

  10. I like ha jiwon’s acting but her kiss scenes stink, for an actress with so many years of experience it’s disappointing. That’s funny people are talking about their chemistry at the awards show, his gf lee honey was there too, but it’s nice their relationship doesn’t overshadow their work.
