So pretty, and in such a personal way too! Engaged star couple Michelle Chen and Chen Xiao are getting married at the end of July and now their personally hand designed wedding invitations and guest gifts have been unveiled. In a wheat toned background, the invitation features a Double C connected by a diamond motif that Chen Xiao created to … Continue reading →
While TW-ent is currently on a baby spree, what with Michelle Chen and her fiancee Chen Xiao expecting a baby, and Ruby Lin and her fiancee Wallace Huo maybe expecting a baby, it’s nice to check in on a celeb couple that already had a baby in hand. Taiwanese superstar singer-producer Jay Chou and his model-actress wife Hannah Quinlivan married … Continue reading →
It should be illegal or at least completely unnecessary to shove a cherubic baby in Song Joong Ki‘s arms, the man is already cuteness personified and anymore might induce overload. In this case it’s not just any random bouncing baby, this particular infant is the daughter of top Chinese actress Zhang Zi Yi and her husband Wang Feng, the two … Continue reading →
There’s nothing definitively smoking gun to report as an update on the Park Yoochun rape allegations investigation currently ongoing in the Seoul police department. But then again, a smoking gun either way would be preferable to this death by a thousand cuts for his fans and for certain drama fans in general who just want to know whether his dramas … Continue reading →

I understand the gut punch reaction of fans to a star embroiled in a scandal in wanting to make problems go away so as to continue to support said star. But that instinctive reaction should not continue if the facts make it impossible to keep supporting said star, and in the case of general drama fans it’s not the star … Continue reading →
I love cute reunions and this one in particular is a happy wave of early Hallyu nostalgia, and where best to happen then at an event promoting current and future Hallyu. Korean actor and actress Jin Goo and Han Ji Min were the special guests at KCON France earlier this month, jetting off to Paris in early June to attend … Continue reading →
Talk about a stretch on top of a baseless assumption, but it’s all in the day’s possibility when one is as currently famous as Song Joong Ki is. How his name got tied with the current criminal investigation into Park Yoochun‘s alleged sexual assaults on multiple women is beyond me, but even rising young actor Park Bo Gum got dragged along … Continue reading →
The legal process continues for the Yoochun sexual assault allegations, multiple ones now after the bombshell first claim in early June was followed by a second, third, and now even fourth woman coming forth. The police have been investigating the claims and this week summoned Yoochun in for questioning, the first time he’s gone in for direct examination. He was … Continue reading →
It’s a mix bag of news for two members of Korean boy band CNBLUE, and likely overall a ding for the reputation of the involved members and/or the entire group as a whole. The Seoul authorities have been investigating Jung Yong Hwa for insider trading in the past week, and the investigation further expanded to include his fellow band member … Continue reading →
Bad news is either contagious or Korean celebs are particularly misbehaving these days. CNBLUE lead singer Jung Yong Hwa is under police investigation for insider trading, which sounds and is less dire than Park Yoochun being accused of multiple counts of rape, but it’s still illegal and one of those shady financial dealings like tax evasion that makes the average … Continue reading →
