Presenting the press conference for The King 2 Hearts, where puppy has gone back to being a puppy. Lee Seung Gi in a frumpy ill-fitting suit and a fuddy hairstyle once again returns to his cute boyish incarnation. Ha Ji Won has visibly lost weight to play this role, but she still looks healthy, and her figure is insane in … Continue reading →
I always like to start off with the good stuff. The latest magazine shoots for Hu Ge and Liu Shi Shi are just too beautiful for me not to share. Especially since Shi Shi’s are all taken in Paris last week when she went there to attend some fashion shows and other couture related good stuff. I think they are … Continue reading →
You don’t need to have read Da Mo Yao to read Yun Zhong Ge, only that the tiny bits of the throwaway references might not be as relatable. But it does help to read up on your early Han history, gaining some perspective into the political machines of the era when Emperor Wu of Han Liu Che was deciding succession … Continue reading →
*Speechless* I was literally slack-jawed for a good two minutes after I saw the latest pictorial of Cheryl Yang for Vogue Taiwan. This woman has graced the cover of Taiwan Vogue innumerable times, and she deserves every single cover. There is not a single model in Taiwan with her range, and as an actress she is as good if not better … Continue reading →
Wow, I think my ovaries just exploded. Metaphorically, of course. There is just something about a really smoking hot guy being all warm and cuddly with a baby that turns me into mush. Add to that said guy is Roy Qiu, and I’m pretty much toast, with a side of bacon and eggs. Since wrapping Office Girls, Roy has been … Continue reading →
Oh gosh, sometimes I wish Jiu Ye would leave Chang An. For his own emotional well-being and sanity’s sake, because every time he runs into Yu Er and Huo Qu Bing it’s like he’s dealt another blow. Now that the love triangle is resolved, unless someone dies and then it’s a whole new ballgame, what’s left is figuring out where … Continue reading →
If Fashion King is one-tenth as hot as this poster of leads Yoo Ah In and Shin Se Kyung, I’ll probably be over in the corner giggling like a school girl. Talk about rawr. The first teaser is out for the upcoming drama about aspiring fashion designers set in New York and Seoul. While I don’t have high hopes this … Continue reading →
Okay, seriously? Who switched out puppy Lee Seung Gi with omomomomo-hot-hot-hot-seksi Lee Seung Gi? Huh? Cuz it’s not good for my health or concentration to have the latter popping up randomly and making me squeal. Between The King 2 Hearts (yes, ANOTHER title change for this drama) and Rooftop Prince, I’m pretty much eating crow left and right for not … Continue reading →
I found my two male leads for my novel translation of Yun Zhong Ge. I feel kinda giddy I can cast away whomever I want, just cuz I complain and moan each time an adaption casting turns out wonky, and for once I can do something about it in my neck of the woods. With Yang Mi as Yun Ge, I … Continue reading →
Recently minted “national drama” The Moon that Embraces the Sun was supposed to air its final two episodes this week, but in a case of drama outside the drama, the PD of this entire operation recently booked it to join the month long ongoing MBC strike. Bravo to the PD for standing up for his beliefs, but OMG I feel … Continue reading →
I hope none of my readers are on the young or shy side, because this chapter of Da Mo Yao might need to be rated S for sensuous. Or maybe H for hot. When Yu Er and Qu Bing make up, they…..erm, do it in a very unique and unforgettable way. Though if this entire chapter makes it intact to … Continue reading →
Ahhhhh, Rooftop Prince, you are so diabolical! How can you release this fantastical and tempting long trailer and then tell me I have to wait 10! more days to sample your delicious goodness? The cast held a press conference yesterday where the main leads showed up looking dashing and fashionable, with the ladies continuing the now extended trend of going … Continue reading →
I’m not sure I’m translating all of Yun Zhong Ge, so don’t ask and definitely don’t expect it. It’s almost twice as long as Da Mo Yao in length, so thinking about it already gives me a headache. But I was in the mood to do a chapter so here it is. I have no clue who will play the … Continue reading →
