The video preview for episode 9 of Lie to Me is out. I have to run but wanted to quickly post it. Spazz away. Just so you know, I’ve dug a huge-ass hole in my backyard, and when I come back I am going to toss Hyun Ki Joon in it. Man be pissing me OFF.

Okay, I’m not going to add a new post anytime there are new spoiler pictures released for this week’s Lie to Me (episodes 9 and 10). As such, I’ll add an edit note on top of this post with a time stamp anytime I get any new updates. Capish? But if the video preview comes out I’ll make a new … Continue reading →
Since I started watching K-dramas, this might be the third time I’m living through a bona-fide online K-drama watching phenomenon. The first was Boys Before Flowers in early 2009. Next came You’re Beautiful in late 2009. A few dramas got really close to be a drama crack craze, such as Sungkyunkwan Scandal and Secret Garden. Some just had a good-sized and devoted … Continue reading →
This weekend sees the premiere of a new Sunday night TW-idol drama – Love Keeps Going with Mike He and Cyndi Wang, which is the successor drama to the just completed airing Sunny Happiness with Janine Chang and also Mike He. Mike and Cyndi have been making the promotional rounds all week (see above), and wherever they go, a loaf … Continue reading →
They are so insanely cute together I might go into sugar shock. Upcoming MBC drama Heartstrings (formerly known as I’ve Fallen for You and Festival) released the first official couple poster shoot for Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye. The concept was a photobooth to capture their youth and spontaneity. These pictures are wonderful – I find them creative, apropos, and unique. Bravo … Continue reading →
I like to think my Feng Feng is not being forced to do this project by his Anhui management team, and that he actually wants to do it. But Anhui Television owes me if it turns out to be a chemistry-less mismatch. My Li Yi Feng is currently in Taiwan doing costume fittings and pre-production work for Happy Michelin Kitchen (幸福三顆星), … Continue reading →
It’s a sure sign that Summer is here (for the Northern Hemisphere at least) and love is in the air when suddenly K-entertainment explodes in one week with news that 3 separate star couples have gone public. Not 1, not 2, but 3! First up we have my sweetie pie Nam Sang Mi and her Life is Beautiful co-star Lee … Continue reading →
I want everyone to just scream out loud – Song Jie Xiu, you are DAEBAK! Yeah, that felt great. Somewhere along the way, perhaps when Jie Xiu sketched his first wild boar girl picture, this man showed us all what drama leading men can and ought to be, and not what we hope they can become after they meet the … Continue reading →
Anything, something, is better than nothing, right? SBS released written previews for both episode 9 and 10, so we get a double dose of Lie to Me upcoming angst to whet our appetites. Unless the written previews say: Ki Joon gets on his knees and gets forgiveness, bitchslapping Yoon Joo a few times for good measure, and then Ki Joon … Continue reading →
I had to dig and search and apply the most strenuous forms of deduction to produce these spoilers for Lie to Me. I don’t have a definitive answer about what it indicates, though there are two possibilities. While my addiction to LTM hasn’t yet reached M3 levels, but it’s getting there. I also made the mental corrolation why I love … Continue reading →
Let me preface by saying that I live, breathe, and sleep Lie to Me, so the lack of spoilers every hour, on the hour, is purely because SBS has suddenly turned into the Grinch who stole our collective minds and pulled an 180 on us all by keeping a tight lid on spoilers all of a sudden. Just so you … Continue reading →
Do the Hong Sisters think I’m a robot? Do they think it’s funny to screw with my heart? To reach deep inside and squeeze until I can’t breathe anymore? I’ve just barely been able to stop hurting inside from the last ten minutes of Lie to Me (oops, take that back – I just checked, am still butt hurt and … Continue reading →
