Vic Zhou (Zai Zai) is currently in Beijing filming a modern TW/C collaboration movie called Cohabiting with Fashion, co-starring Vivian Hsu and HK-actor Alan Tam. Zai Zai plays a white collar employee of a fashion company, and Vivian is a typical hard-working average girl. The movie supposedly depicts how modern young people work hard to make their dreams come true, … Continue reading →
I think this might be it – after multiple potential airing dates associated with the completed TW-drama Hayate the Combat Butler, yesterday lead actor George Hu‘s management company Polyland posted on its Weibo a picture of George in the recording studio doing voice work for Hayate (see picture below), with the accompanying caption that Hayate is scheduled to air on GTV … Continue reading →
*Wild incoherent shrieks of joy* This episode was so good, I think I shed a tear or two like a proud mother watching her formerly tone deaf son sing a song in perfect pitch after watching him get progressively better and better each week. Wow, just wow. 49 Days has officially become the shiz-niz and I dunno what to do … Continue reading →
It’s here! Okay, more like it’s coming in one week, and we get a sneak peak today! The cast of Best Love held its press conference today and my see-sawing heart took another giant somersault of joy when I saw them all together. I might as well tell you all now – I am only planning to recap one drama … Continue reading →
Next week two May dramas are premiering, and the first to arrive will be Baby-faced Beauty for KBS on Monday. The cast attended the customary press conference, and Jang Nara stood out like a spring flower with her oh-my-eyes-so-bright pink dress. Which frankly looks cute on her and probably no one else on this planet. But her hair, which I … Continue reading →
Drunken to Love You released another (shorter but different scenes) preview for episode 3. I’ve embedded both previews below, so enjoy the cute. I’m a little exasperated because my very nice request at the beginning of my episode 2 recap for people to stop lifting my DTLY stuff wholesale went unheeded. I didn’t want to have to do this, but … Continue reading →
Episode 13 of 49 Days ended without any preview, but luckily SBS released it shortly thereafter. It’s a very juicy one, with an ending that made me squeal with anticipation for hopefully another game-changer in sight. You know, I was really curious about Yi Kyung’s backstory for the longest time, mostly because I didn’t much like Ji Hyun or Nam … Continue reading →
This was a crazy week in dramalandia, with the influx of pre-premiere goodies for a bevy of May dramas dropping from the sky like a passing tropical storm. It made me put 49 Days by the wayside, but it was not out of sight, out of mind. While I don’t feel the compulsion to write reams about this drama, during … Continue reading →
49 Days has a lot of mystery, but it’s not really the tense or spooky kind that makes me anxious. I find myself okay either way – if Ji Hyun gets her 3 tears or not – because I think either ending could be validated for me and make me feel like the journey taken by our protagonists was meaningful … Continue reading →
Hhhmmm, this is rather odd. Not odd in a bad way, but odd in a “I’ve never thought of putting them together” way, kinda like pickles and chocolate ice-cream. LG has selected Kim Sa Rang and Yoo Ah In for their latest cell phone ad campaign (the Optimus Black – which I keep reading as the Optimus Prime), and I just … Continue reading →
There can no be other way to describe today other than it was the Fat Tuesday of K-dramas. Laissez le bon temps rouler! I have never posted as many posts in one day as I did today, and it was well worth the insanity. When I saw these new official stills from Lie to Me and City Hunter (SBS is definitely on … Continue reading →
I just want to squish these two into one cuddly fluffy ball of love. You would think a few months away from my insane love for Jang Geun Seok and Moon Geun Young in Mary Stayed Out All Night (reckon I didn’t say I loved said drama) I’d be all less crazy about them, but er, no, they are still … Continue reading →
Help me. Too many dramas goodies + too little time = zero ability to synthesize information anymore. My brain has reached maximum drama influx capability. I think the preview for 49 Days episode 13 is good, but I can’t seem to find the words to express my thoughts. Go watch and see what’s coming tomorrow.
