Another C-drama got cast and will kick off filming, it’s called Seven Night Snow (七夜雪) and is adapted from a same title novel. The leads are Zeng Shun Xi and Li Qin and this is a fresh pairing and also two stars who can act. Unfortunately for me neither engage my attention but a good story and chemistry can change … Continue reading →
The K-drama Tell Me That You Love Me is on its way to the small screen nearly 30 years after the original J-dorama Aishiteiru to Ittekure came out with the quiet introspective love story with a deaf male lead. The remake stars the very good looking Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun Bin as the leads and this week the … Continue reading →
So I expect this drama to have tons of male actor names associated with it but this one makes sense. C-ent insiders are saying Zhang Ling He and his side has signed an interest commitment as the male lead opposite Dilraba Dilmurat in her upcoming fantasy life jumping revenge drama Wan Zha Chao Huang. It will apparently have one main … Continue reading →
So this is starting to have overlap with the Yoo Ah In drug case, in that a doctor of all people is involved with the supplying of illegal drugs. In the police investigation into Lee Seon Kyun‘s drug use scandal, it’s now involved G-Dragon also using drugs and under investigation, and police have announced that one person in the entire … Continue reading →
I’m normally okay with preemptions these days since it’s been awhile since a K-drama got me addicted but I’m thisclose to be super addicted to MBC weekly rom-com A Good Day to be a Dog and this week’s unexpected non-airing of episode 4 hit me like ice cold water. I need my doggie couple and the obligatory cuteness of doggie … Continue reading →
So when this C-drama was announced months ago everyone was naturally like “WHY?!” because the original K-drama was considered perfect in every way. In what amounts to karmic timing, the drama Loving Strangers (C-title Thank You for Listening to Me) started filming with Mark Chao and Zhang Zi Feng at the same time the male lead of the original K-drama … Continue reading →
Whenever there is a big scandal in K-ent, and seemingly same in C-ent, I notice there are extensions or sidebars to said matter. This week was all about top movie and drama actor Lee Seon Kyun‘s drug use scandal, which includes frequenting a hostess club and hanging out with a madam at her home, has now formally added another star. … Continue reading →
Well this is as trendy of a main four cast as it can get in K-ent at least with the younger gen. The two male leads of the movie adaptation of Omniscient Reader Viewpoint has long confirmed Lee Min Ho and Ahn Hyo Seob but this week rounded out the entire full cast starting with the two female leads who … Continue reading →
C-ent has been hotly buzzing last few days with tabloid gossip that top actress Zhang Zi Yi and her rocker husband Wang Feng are divorced. Not even divorcing, but divorced already and reportedly for quite some time. After a day or so the couple issued official statements confirmed they are indeed divorced, but are still co-parenting their two daughter together. … Continue reading →
This young romance certainly went through the full cycle at light speed. Today K-ent rumors claimed that Jisoo and her actor beau Ahn Bo Hyun had broken up, the reason being both being so busy they weren’t spending time together and drifted apart. YG Entertainment swiftly confirmed it so this goes down as one of those shooting star relationships, blink … Continue reading →
So this tiny news blip is just funny because it’s so absurd either way. C-actress Yu Shu Xin did a Paris stay recently to attend fashion shows and shoot material and recently she uploaded a picture of her crouched on the ground with a glass of champagne after doing a street shoot. C-netizens got upset at her leaving two French … Continue reading →
Sorry there is more Lee Seon Kyun articles here than normal and honestly these are not fun to write at all. But he’s a top star and this is an evolving situation so it’s worth covering. He’s now formally under investigation as a suspect in illegal drug use, and it’s reportedly not just marijuana but additional other drugs. Also under … Continue reading →
So the Korean flick Love Reset premiered earlier this month in October and it wasn’t a major release with big buzz but in the three weeks since it’s done solid at the box office and has reportedly broke even with legs to go further. Kudos to leads Kang Ha Neul and Jung So Min, a drama focused on a soon-to-divorce … Continue reading →
