For once a Crash Landing on You episode didn’t end with a cliffhanger though it ended with the promise of tons of fun stuff coming in the next episode. There is a two week lunar new year break between episode 10 so the preview for episode 11 promises so much fun times – Jung Hyuk being on Se Ri’s terf … Continue reading →
The setting for upcoming jTBC romance drama I’ll Come Find You When the Weather is Good is the countryside so the backdrops for the posters are really capitalizing on the scenery. The just released second poster includes also separate character posters for leads Park Min Young and Seo Kang Joon. Stitched together it’s the two of them staring at each … Continue reading →

K-actor Jang Ki Yong and Lee Soo Hyuk are in talks for an April 2020 K-drama titled Born Again, which deals with reincarnation and scary serial killer action. Jang Ki Yong will be playing a detective and Lee Soo Hyuk will be medical student/serial killer. Together with the female lead, the … Continue reading →
K-actress Kim So Hyun is naturally beautiful and with the advantages of youth can pull off any hairstyle and still look fantastic. Clothes are less unanimous as there are still outfits that no one would look good in, but her choice of attire this week attending the VIP movie premiere for political thriller film The Man Standing Next (Chiefs of … Continue reading →
Being addicted to Crash Landing on You hurts so good. Perhaps I should be thankful next week’s airing will be preempted due to lunar new year festivities and programming, otherwise how can I concentrate and cook all the meals I need to whip up in real life. This Sunday’s episode 10 took what seemed like a permanent separation of OTP … Continue reading →
I’ve skipped Seo Kang Joon‘s last two dramas but am totally pumped up to see him in upcoming tvN melancholy romance I’ll Come Find You When the Weather is Good. I tend to like him more when I like his leading lady and in this case I adore Park Min Young who has been rocking a streak of cute rom-coms … Continue reading →
All of South Korea must be and should rejoice at the latest earned honor bestowed on award winning 2019 movie Parasite. tvN weekend drama Crash Landing on You keeps soaring higher and one upping itself. This Sunday’s episode 10 jumped 3% in ratings to hit 14.633% with still 6 more episodes to go. This could reach Goblin, Mr. Sunshine, and Answer Me 1988 territory for the network which would be exciting to see. I’ll save the actual plot developments for later … Continue reading →
Weekend dramas have been quiet on the big three network front as cable networks have been really on fire in that time slot. But when the prime time dramas faltered in recent years the big three always had their weekend stalwarts and I’m just waiting for something to stir my interest and bring me back to the world of big … Continue reading →
Start counting down to 1-22-20 because that’s the starting line for The Game: Towards Zero. The MBC drama takes over the Wed-Thurs time slot from quirky romance drama People With Flaws and marks the return to acting for Taecyeon after serving his military enlistment. He plays a prophet who can see the moment a person dies when he looks into … Continue reading →
I don’t think this is anything remotely worth spoiling about tvN drama Crash Landing on You because every single plot point has been cribbed from something before yet stitched together in such an addicting way. This Saturday’s episode 9 continued the high ratings of last week taking in 11.516% as the OTP was reunited from a brief separation only to … Continue reading →
Who is that unabashedly fashion loud grandma that all the K-paps are snapping pictures of at Incheon airport this week? It’s none other than rapper Song Min Ho of idol group WINNER, deciding that he was going to kick off the new year with new fashion leanings. His outfit is so out there it doesn’t even register on the good … Continue reading →
It’s hard to say stars age better with time since being young and fresh faced pretty is the primary selling point of actors and actresses. But for the cast of popular period C-drama Romance in the Rain filmed in 2000 and airing in 2001, twenty years later leads Vicky Zhao, Leo Ku, Ruby Lin, and Alec Su can definitively take … Continue reading →
