I love reunions and this one is a long ways out, thirteen years later to be exact. Upcoming Taiwan movie Let’s Cheat Together (Chinese title The Mayor’s Wife’s Secret) headlines Chen Qiao En as the titular mayor’s wife and Ming Dao has a role as the mayor’s fixer who gets brought in to clean up the mess when scandalous pictures … Continue reading →
Apparently Lee Jong Seok and Kim Ji Won are still in discussions for upcoming romance K-drama See You Again, and maybe the production is tired of waiting hence the report today emphasizing the offers out to them and stating that script reading will be held this Saturday May 19th. The drama will be 100% pre-produced and air on Netflix, with … Continue reading →
I’m liking the further casting of upcoming K-drama Memories of Alhambra which has already confirmed high profile leads Hyun Bin and Park Shin Hye. After a relatively well-received supporting role in last year’s Missing 9, Chanyeol of the idol group EXO has been cast in Memories as the younger brother of Park Shin Hye’s character. Joining Chanyeol in a supporting … Continue reading →
The British are dominating many of the news cycles world wide thanks to the marriage of a famous prince to a real life cinderella story of his actress fiancee. I’m assuming tourism to the England is going to spike around the wedding weekend but I’m way more interested in visiting for the English spring scene. The lush foliage and picturesque … Continue reading →
Oh dear these two are going to be such eye candy onscreen. The first couple stills are out of Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young in upcoming tvN romance Why Secretary Kim, and by couple I mean in the same frame looking like a couple attending a black tie affair even though they are likely still just company president … Continue reading →
I haven’t seen Tang Yan in a quite some time due to not watching any C-dramas recently and also the lack of gossip columns about her that used to dominate the headlines. She’s been dating her frequent drama costar Luo Jin for two years now and the two continue to star in dramas together, I’ve lost count of how many … Continue reading →
Taiwan is the place to be for K-ent singer-actors as one after another has in recent weeks gone there for fan meetings. There was Lee Seung Gi three weeks ago, Choi Si Won two weeks ago, and now Suzy last week. Suzy is quite popular there though perhaps not as insanely popular as she is in South Korea, a feat … Continue reading →
The new tvN Sat-Sun drama Lawless Lawyer is off to a kickass ratings start, continuing the cable network’s powerhouse offerings for that time slot. Episode 1 brought in 5.275% and episode 2 increased into 6.037%. This is a better start than its predecessor Live which started off with 4.337% and 3.293%, and that drama increased steadily in ratings to end … Continue reading →
I’m happy to share an update on the recovery status of K-actress Han Ye Seul from a botched lipoma removal surgery last month. She posted an SNS selfie which was later expanded with two cute additional pictures posted by her good friend and fellow actress Jung Ryeo Won. Han Ye Seul looks amazing with blond hair and rocking the oversized … Continue reading →
I can’t believe it’s been twelve years since K-actor Lee Min Ho debuted. It feels both too short and too long, short because he’s done so many dramas and the time flew by, and long because he rocketed to stardom so soon after debuting thanks to the serendipitous timing of landing his most iconic role of Gu Jun Pyo in … Continue reading →
K-actress Yoon Eun Hye loves her puppy very much and who can blame her. Her dog is adorable and so is she in these latest SNS pictures shared this week with fans. Since I love Yoon Eun Hye and dogs this is a no brainer to post about, especially when she continues her long acting hiatus but seems to be … Continue reading →
Having a baby shouldn’t incapacitate a woman but it certainly adds to the workload, and for an actress the potential for weight gain and sleepless nights doesn’t help in keeping a top image. With that said, renowned natural Korean beauties Jeon Ji Hyun and Kim Tae Hee make it so effortless to just glide right back into promotions, especially Jeon … Continue reading →
I’m going to have to madly love female lead Lee Sung Kyung‘s character in upcoming tvN fantasy romance About Time, otherwise it’s near impossible to discount that she’s basically playing a stalker of male lead Lee Sang Yoon. The drama is a week out from the premiere and released a duo of beautiful official drama posters, I love it almost … Continue reading →
