The drama casting gods have spoken and we’re getting an All In reunion but between generations. Ji Sung and Han Ji Min are confirmed for upcoming K-drama Knowing Wife (The Wife I Know), with the two working together actually for the first time despite both being in the classic Hallyu hit drama All In. Han Ji Min was part of … Continue reading →
This is the second time I’ve noticed Park Seo Joon having terrible hair moment, and it’s already more than most male stars since men’s hair styles are a whole lot harder to mess up. Last year his bad hair day lasted an entire drama namely his wig in Hwarang, proving that he really isn’t cut out for the sageuk flowing … Continue reading →
The Chanel Resort Collection 2018 set sail this week in Paris against the backdrop of a fully recreated steamer ship and plenty of famous faces in attendance. I got excited seeing Liu Shi Shi and Kim Go Eun there, each displaying their own styles and charms. Former ballerina Liu Shi Shi pulled her hair up and back while still looking … Continue reading →
I almost forgot about this drama on the 2018 slate mostly because it’s rather low profile since the announcement of the male lead and then silence afterwards. This week came news that mostly movie actress Lee Yoo Young has been offered the female lead role in Terius Behind Me opposite So Ji Sub. Her casting certainly isn’t going to jolt … Continue reading →
I’m of two minds about the Jung Hae In controversy stemming from his center of photo position in the official winners picture. On one hand it’s not the biggest of deals even if he intentionally planted himself in the middle spot to milk his current It Boy fame. But it does color my impression of him and that’s hard to … Continue reading →
The Fan Bing Bing and Cannes Film Festival red carpet wow dresses have even become staples with the Western media. She’s an annual attendee, has served on the juror, and even been nominated in the past, so I expect her to be looking for her next Cannes dress every year for many year to come. The 2018 Cannes Film Festival … Continue reading →
I’m getting a small crush on Park Min Young’s entire look in upcoming tvN drama Why Secretary Kim. The makeup, hair color and style, and of course her smart yet feminine secretary attire, she gets a solid A for radiating surround sound level charm. It contrasts nicely with Park Seo Joon who is the rich powerful boss yet is made … Continue reading →
It’s funny how one potential leading lady morphed into another, but both give off very similar vibes. The female lead is confirmed for upcoming K-drama Gyeryong Goddess (or Gyeryong Fairy) with Moon Chae Won picking this as her next drama. Initially Kang Sora was in talks but she pulled out last month due to reported scheduling conflicts. The male lead … Continue reading →
A heartfelt congratulations to K-actress Han Chae Ah as she tied the knot this past weekend in Seoul with a non-celebrity groom. Her husband Cha Se Ji may be a non-celebrity but comes from a famous soccer playing family so being a soccer man may be in Han Chae Ah’s future. I think she plans to continue her entertainment career … Continue reading →
The time really zipped by these last few weeks and now tvN new Sat-Sun drama Lawless Lawyer is premiering this weekend. Starring Lee Jun Ki, Seo Ye Ji, Choi Min Soo, and Lee Hye Young, the fierce ferociousness is off the charts with this impressive cast. I watched the long 4-minute preview released at the press conference and this drama … Continue reading →
No. Noooooooooo! I like Suzy and I love Lee Seung Gi but I have rarely disliked any of my baes smooshed together like I hated Suzy and Seung Gi in Gu Family Book. It was so much no bueno I still flash back to the particular feeling of agony realizing that drama was going to be crap very early on. … Continue reading →
Please drama gods do not make Lee Dong Gun the bad guy in upcoming jTBC drama Sketch. I can handle him being the antagonist/nemesis to Rain’s male lead but not the ultimate big bad, because I need the two to join forces later on after overcoming initial disagreement with each other. The reunion of the two male leads from Sang … Continue reading →
The wait is over and it wasn’t even that long if you ask me. Coming off a mega pan-Asia drama hit like Descendants of the Sun, it’s not surprising Song Joong Ki hasn’t picked a drama for the last two years. I like to think he was also enjoying the real life romance with his DotS costar turned now wife … Continue reading →
