C-ent industry insiders are saying that Dylan Wang and Zhao Lu Si are in talks for period C-drama Why Not Cross By Boat (何不同舟渡 He Bu Tong Zhou Du). This casting is legit and not a melon, but … Continue reading →
Well of course there is going to be more deets and dirt on the shocking news that top movie actor Jung Woo Sung randomly fathered a baby with model Moon Gabi. Additional reports have surfaced that the two basically had a one-night stand, she got pregnant and wanted to keep the baby, he asked for a paternity test, and once … Continue reading →
It’s unfortunate that director Guo Jing Ming has such a own vision on all his works and presents it regardless of how it may be received by the broader audience. My Journey to You was just okay but Fangs of Fortune was a flop, it was too over-the-top in presentation and the slow burn story did no wonders in roping … Continue reading →
I don’t know if this drama will be a hit when it’s all done but this is definitely a very promising sign. This weekend tvN released rom-com Love Your Enemy with Joo Ji Hoon and Jung Yumi, taking over from Jeonghyeon: A Star is Born. I legit had zero interest in this drama but judging from the ratings am inclined … Continue reading →
Well the OG 90’s era male K-stars certainly know how to all be drama llamas. Oh I love this popcorn! Pass more and slather on the butter please. Surprise late fall C-drama hit Love Game in Eastern Fantasy ended last week and there were complaints of the lack of kissing scenes in the drama. Especially with how bottled up inside male lead Ding Yu Xi‘s character was, I could totally see hot make outs of … Continue reading →
I’m so glad I became a Yu Shu Xin fan after her turn in My Journey to Love and continued to enjoy her in Sword and Fairy 6. She is so polarizing with the love her/can’t stand her extremes that it would be annoying to watch her succeed and everywhere when one doesn’t like her. After the unexpected hit that … Continue reading →
There is a title change but the same confirmed leads as filming kicks off for period C-drama Chasing Dreams (梦花廷 Meng Hua Ting), formerly Flower in Novoland. If I were a professor I would absolutely be an easy grader. If you try hard sincerely and the output shows that effort I would acknowledge it, in that sense I’m not very black/white in life or in entertainment offerings. I’ve liked plenty of objectively bad movies and dramas because I enjoyed certain elements of it enough to overlook the … Continue reading →
“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.” No I’m not alleging producer Yu Zheng copied Pride and Prejudice, and even Little Women, but he definitely has assembled the premise of a mom in olden times trying to marry off her daughters. In this case there … Continue reading →
It’s off with the hair pieces and ancient costumes for Xu Kai and Deng En Xi.
