OMG it’s been years since Dispatch has dropped a New Year’s couple dating reveal as BIG as this one. The tabloid dropped an early present for gossip eager fans today on the 31st with news that Lee Jong Seok and IU are dating. They were spotted spending Christmas last week together in Japan, at the uber exclusive Aman resort near … Continue reading →
The first year end awards show took place the night of the 30th over at MBC which didn’t have a lot of dramas to work with in 2022 to fete but still managed to pull off the night. Winning Daesang was Lee Jong Seok for Big Mouth which was as expected. The drama also won Best Drama and Top Excellence … Continue reading →
Well this is definitely slim pickings at MBC this year for the Year End Drama Awards, but what else is new. This year even the contenders for the Daesang are retreads, in the sense that it’s three male leads who have all won MBC Daesangs in the past. So Ji Sub for Doctor Lawyer, then there is Lee Jong Seok … Continue reading →
People say you make your best friends in school and for these two actors they made best friends in School for sure haha. School 2013 to be exact, the KBS drama series that got revived with the 2013 version and spawned three more iterations with Who are You: School 2015, School 2017, and the latest School 2021. Kim Woo Bin … Continue reading →
All the hot pink in the world converged at the Valentino event in Seoul this week, likely migrated across the ocean from the set of the highly anticipated upcoming live-action Barbie movie (Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling!!). There were that many stars in attendance but those who went were show stoppers for sure thanks to getting the dress code and … Continue reading →
Man this sucks to hear. This weekend was the conclusion of MBC Fri-Sat drama Big Mouth with Lee Jong Seok and Yoona which ended up being both better than expected when it started and now worse than hoped for in how it ended. I’m so far from being caught up I may table this based on the howls of anger … Continue reading →
This Friday’s ratings for MBC drama Big Mouth was 9.8%, which puts this drama on the same trajectory as SBS Fri-Sat drama earlier this year Again My Life. An okay start but good word of mouth plus a fantastic male lead pulling in the viewers along the way. This Friday’s episode 5 got 9.8% ratings and the reviews continue to … Continue reading →
I’m less allergic to prison themed shows/movies as I am super avoiding of war themed ones but for Lee Jong Seok I’m going to check out Big Mouth for sure, especially now that my other weekend drama has deteriorated to spinning in circles. In the second week of airing, the MBC Fri-Sat drama rose in ratings to 7.6% and 8.6% … Continue reading →
I feel bad for these two dramas which actually both look good and create counter programming so something for different tastes. But with Wed-Thurs drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo dominating across the board in buzz it almost feels like these two new premieres aren’t getting as much attention as it would have normally. New MBC Fri-Sat drama is Big Mouth with … Continue reading →
If just premiered KBS drama Cafe Minamdang is way more goofy and quirky than expected, then upcoming MBC drama Big Mouth is continues to drop way more serious, action, and dangerous promos than this drama was announced as. Not a bad thing but it’s giving me Mouse crossed with Flower of Evil vibes, and I don’t know if Lee Jong … Continue reading →
The promo circuit is starting early with MBC Sat-Sun summer drama Big Mouth which arrives on July 29th and this week we’ve gotten first stills and now first official drama posters. It’s way darker and more serious than I thought it would be, I dunno when I heard about a third rate lawyer getting mistaken for a top swindler it … Continue reading →
I think the Big Mouth v. Big Mouse title confusion has been sorted out. The drama called Big Mouth is scheduled to air on MBC Fri-Sat time slot after Doctor Lawyer and today released the first official drama stills of male lead Lee Jong Seok. He plays the titular Big Mouth, a loquacious lawyer with a low win percentage who … Continue reading →
The production of upcoming thriller movie The Witch: Part 2: The Other One has gone out of its way to keep “the other one” hidden until now. The first stills are out of new female lead Shin Si Ah, who plays a different character than the titular witch in the first movie which starred Kim Da Mi. There was always … Continue reading →
