Another poll result has hit the internet waves and this one feels like the readers had their hands on the pulse the entire time. Online newspaper Chosun Daily which despite it’s name is a Chinese publication covering all news in Korea, ran a readers poll for the past month from middle of December through middle of January that asked for the favorite K-drama of 2016. With a total of 118,085 votes cast, the winner with nearly half the votes was Legend of the Blue Sea, with 49,293 viewers picking it as most favorite. Coming in close in second place was Descendants of the Sun with 48,801 votes, which tells me that DotS should be top since it aired in early 2016 whereas Legend was still airing during the vote so had the freshness factor. Rounding out the top three was 11,308 votes for Moonlight Drawn by Clouds. Check out the full top 8 list below. Continue reading
