Liu Shi Shi and Nicky Wu Use the Bu Bu Jing Xin Magnolia Flower Love Symbol as Their Wedding Invitation
It appears a big chunk of the Chinese-speaking entertainment industry crowd is flying out to Bali this weekend for the sure to be star-studded wedding of top stars Nicky Wu and Liu Shi Shi. So many stars have been lighting up their weibo and FB feeds showing off the wedding invitation, the wedding treats, and chattering about what to wear for the tropical event. Reportedly Liu Shi Shi’s bridesmaids includes Annie Liu who played her onscreen older sister in Bu Bu Jing Xin, the drama that brought Shi Shi and Nicky together.
Nicky’s groomsmen will be his good friends Alec Su and Julian Chen who together with Nicky formed the 1980’s Taiwanese boy band The Little Tigers. I am so going to be swooning over the wedding when the pictures drop, but before then Nicky and Shi Shi truly played homage to the trajectory of their romance by sending out wedding invitations ringed with the lace cutout in the design of magnolia flowers, and those who watched BBJX know that the magnolia was the floral symbol that signified that love between 4th Prince and Ruo Xi. I’m so in awe of how much thought went into the preparation and how much they both appreciate BBJX as the drama fans do.
