2020 Asia Artist Awards Release Star Studded Attendees Including Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Jun Ki, Lee Jung Jae, Lee Sung Kyung, Seo Ye Ji and Many More — 11 Comments

  1. From what I have seen over the last few years since this AAA ceremony started. They need to stop inviting actors there especially the veteran actors. Its format is like an idols ceremony with actors as tokens to make the award more legit. They look so out of place there. Not to mention, they give really weird awards. And an award ceremony where everyone who attends gets an award reduces its seriousness. And its soooo long.

    • Its telling how many actors who were in big hits this year or gave great performances are missing i.e Park Seo Joon(Itaewon Class)Son Ye Jin, Hyun Bin(Crash Landing On You), Moon Chae Won (Flower of Evil), Bae Doona, Cho Seung Woo(Stranger 2), Jo Jung Seok (Hospital Playlist) and many more…

    • I agree with you.. This award really seems like an Idol popularity show..So many weird categories that doesn’t even make sense.??

  2. “check out the outfits”? That’s easy – 96% of the women will turn up in white, 3.5% in black or grey, with bland pastels featuring in the rest. The men will show less variation on their dress.

    • Saw a video on YouTube of someone driving around Seoul where he described the propensity of Koreans to only drive in either black or silver colored cars. You’ll hardly find colorful automobiles in the country. There’s also the sea of black puffer jackets during winter if you walk around the city.

I think Koreans’ strong adherence to “blending in” is also very much present in red carpet events where the stars are suppose to stand out. Such culture really makes their red carpet events hella boring. But it is what it is.

  3. AAA is notorious for awarding random awards for the heck but I’d say Flower Evil deserves something better. I’d prefer dramas which are something light but overall I find FOE as one of the best quality well-made dramas of 2020. In fairness, Lee Joon Gi deserves to be recognised for his performance. I realised he is so underrated as an actor. He deserves something better than AAA. The director of the drama also did a fantastic job for this production. I’d never expected to like this drama but it’s surprisingly good.
