I must have magical super powers, at least that is what I’m going to keep telling myself. One day after posting about Han Hyo Joo and wondering when/what her next project would be, the girl goes and gets herself cast as the lead in the upcoming move Only You, which has already got its leading man in So Ji Sub.

A Sino-Hollywood collaboration, produced by Andre Morgan (Oscar-winning producer who made Million Dollar Baby), director Gao Xiao Sheng, famed screenwriter Zhou Jin Zi, with action choreography by Sammo Hung (famed actor and martial artist with 40 years of experience as a martial … Continue reading →
I knew this movie was coming out soon, but I didn’t realize that it held its VIP premiere last night until I read that Moon Geun Young had attended the event. I am a bad movie buff these days. Sigh, dramas, what’chu doing to me! The cast and crew of the upcoming movie Children held its star-studded VIP premiere last … Continue reading →
Athena: Goddess of War will be premiering in about T-minus twelve hours. Yes, fifteen years and countless movies later, Jung Woo Sung returns to the K-drama screen in what is likely the most expensive drama ever produced. I have low expectations that the story will be stellar, but I have high expectations that I will love it regardless. In honor of … Continue reading →
The upcoming live action movie of the seminal Japanese manga Ashita no Joe, starring my darling YamaPi (Yamashita Tomohisa), finally released its full-length trailer. Does Pi actually look *gasp* alive and fiery in that poster above? Oh … Continue reading →

It was the first film not helmed by legendary director Hayao Miyazaki, but was instead directed by his protege. The response has been overwhelming: Miyazaki can finally retire at ease, because Studio Ghibli’s future is … Continue reading →

Instead of toiling away this afternoon, I took a long short break that somehow ended with me finally watching the 2008 movie adapation of the legend of Liang Zhu, also known as The Butterfly Lovers (武俠梁祝). I think it was a Zhong Wu Yen tangent actually, … Continue reading →
