This episode of In a Good Way was a walk down memory lane for Liu Chuan to finally uncover the truth about the treasure and task his grandfather left him. But it was also an amazing walk down memory lane for the audience chock full of many Easter egg scenes that were homages to great moments earlier on in the … Continue reading →
Get ready to laugh until your belly aches. The first official character stills from the upcoming C-drama Billion Dollar Inheritors (亿万继承人) has just been released. This was the drama that made the news in the beginning of the year for being the C-remake of last year’s hit K-drama Heirs. Turns out it’s not a remake of Heirs as this particular … Continue reading →
http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z392/Jomo143/sla10/successs_zps731a7bef.png Those above Hye Won believe it is greed for a position of power in Seohan that drives her. They exploit this as a way to keep Hye Won in check. Look at the way Mde Han manipulates the Sun Jae situation. Everyone knows or at least suspects something is going on between the student and teacher, but somehow that … Continue reading →
I can sense interest in waning for In a Good Way, which is a shame since this drama remains as good as it’s ever been, and also because I know how rare of a beast it is. Just looking at the latest SETTV Sunday night drama Fall in Love with You is a startling reminder slap in the face to … Continue reading →
Goodness does the production for Bu Bu Jing Qing really know how to milk the Bu Bu Jing Xin feels. I freaking love this new drama poster! As the long-awaited sorta-sequel gets ready to premiere next Tuesday April 22nd, the promotional materials are starting to snowball and I’m being judicious about what I pluck out lest I get steamrolled by … Continue reading →
In the wake of South Korea’s worst disaster in decades after Wednesday morning’s capsize and sinking of a Jeju-bound ferry carrying nearly 500 passengers, all major broadcast networks canceled dramas and variety shows scheduled for that night. Due to the still unfolding nature of the rescue operation where nearly 280 passengers remain unaccounted for, the networks continued to focus all … Continue reading →
I hate to say the upcoming MBC drama Triangle is male-lead centric, but it’s looking more and more like that considering all three male leads Lee Bum Soo as the eldest brother, Jaejoong as the middle brother, and Im Shi Wan as the baby brother have all had official drama stills released. Perhaps male-centric might be playing up the gender … Continue reading →
First off, I love this first drama poster for You’re All Surrounded. It’s not groundbreaking but does two things right – (1) the color is lovely and everyone looks alive as opposed to the recent penchant for dark gritty everyone looks like a vampire stuff, and (2) it manages to stick the entire main cast in (and not just the … Continue reading →
There is such undeniable quiet beauty in this drama rendering it such a joy to watch. But paired with a story where characters engage in behavior that isn’t acceptable in society increases the difficulty for me to write about it. It’s shallowly dismissive to say that watching Secret Love Affair equals condoning adultery or not watching it means having high … Continue reading →
Long time CF collaborators and former Dream High co-stars Kim Soo Hyun and Suzy continue with their coupling up for sportswear brand Bean Pole and the latest CF stills and video leave me rather befuddled. I love them together and have enjoyed all their previous Bean Pole collaborations which have been fun and flirty and great location porn as the … Continue reading →
All I have to say about the upcoming SBS drama Dr. Stranger is that it feels rather haphazard and whiplashy in terms of the sudden transitions between moods. The second video preview is out and this one features only Lee Jong Seok and Jin Se Yeon. In the drama, Jin Se Yeon plays two characters – the first is Lee … Continue reading →
Hhhhhmmmm, Cha Seung Won in a perfectly tailored classic tux. Delicious and nutritious for my eyes. The first official character stills are out for Cha Seung Won’s character in the upcoming cop drama You’re All Surrounded. While I will never say no to Cha Seung Won all cleaned up in a tux, because very few Korean actors have his perfectly … Continue reading →
There are two C-dramas scheduled for airing towards the end of April and I’m interested in both just to stack the odds that if one sucks I still have another shot at striking a watchable one. The more high profile is Bu Bu Jing Qing, the modern day sequel to the Qing dynasty period drama Bu Bu Jing Xin. BBJX … Continue reading →
