KBS released some new stills of Mari, who is looking prettier than ever, as well as the video preview for episode 9. The preview gets my blood pressure up, all on account of Mari. She’s not dastardly, per se, but she’s starting to really grate on my nerves. I suppose my patience is wearing thin with her because I see … Continue reading →
Surprise! Haha, if anyone is watching Big with me, you’ll totally get that inside joke. I’ve always said I write what I feel like, and my desire to translate Da Mo Yao and Yun Zhong Ge was prompted by my love for the novels rather than doing a public service of generating content. I was in the mood yesterday and … Continue reading →
I don’t think the news that Da Ran and Kyung Jae start living together is a spoiler to anyone, since they are married now and for all intents and purposes ought to be living together so as to not arouse suspicions from either family. But the article that accompanied these new pictures does have some spoilery tidbits about Big so … Continue reading →
The already wrapped modern C-drama SOP Queen finally released trailers this week, but there hasn’t been confirmation of when it’s airing. Starring Hans Zhang, Chen Qiao En, and Godfrey Tsao, the drama definitely went all out on location shoots in London for a month before wrapping up in Shanghai and Taipei. The title is about being a “leftover girl” which … Continue reading →
So I made a leeeetle mistake in my last post about Kim Hyung Jun’s upcoming single from his new solo mini album called “Escape”. The first single is actually the song “Sorry I’m Sorry” (Super Junior might be having conniptions but whatever) and is accompanied by a 25-minute mini drama MV co-starring Kang Ji Hwan and Lee Ki Woo. The … Continue reading →
[Breaking news: I know which episode Kyung Joon’s body might wake up. It was in the news. I’ll hide the spoiler below the cut.] Following in the footsteps of Gong Yoo and Lee Min Jung‘s Me2Day chat two weeks ago with the fans of Big, the other two leads Suzy and Baek Sung Hyun held their own chat yesterday with … Continue reading →
Arang and the Magistrate continues to marinate in the awesomesauce. The newly released stills of the second leads are as fantastic as the ones for Lee Jun Ki and Shin Mina. Colorful and animated without turning cartoonish, these stills give off the fantasy sageuk vibe that the drama is aiming for. Yeon Woo Jin plays a villainous government official and … Continue reading →
Lee Dong Wook. Being seksi in Australia for Sure Magazine. The end. What? You guys need more words from me? Wookie has been on television regularly these days since taking over co-hosting duties on Strong Heart, occupying the position formerly held by Lee Seung Gi. It’s still odd to me since the two men appear to have such vastly different … Continue reading →
Well the written preview for episode 9 of Big certainly starts to shed light on the mystery of the connection between the two male leads. I’m actually hoping this will send the mystery unraveling at hyper speed rather than dribs and drabs, though I am wanting more Kyung Jae-Da Ran married couple cuteness before the inevitable hammer of angst hits. … Continue reading →
Making his long awaited return to television, Joo Ji Hoon has chosen to go with a 50-episode long weekend drama that will surely test his endurance and mettle. Hey, if you want to make a comeback, why not go all out? The drama is called The Piano Forest (also known as Five Fingers) and stars Joo Ji Hoon as a … Continue reading →
Talk about a case of bros-got-your-back. SS501’s Kim Hyung Jun is releasing a new solo mini album titled “Escape” in July, and for his first single also called “Escape”, he’s joined by his friends and same agency hyungs Kang Ji Hwan and Lee Ki Woo in a 25-minute long music video mini movie. The first stills released show the three … Continue reading →
I’m going to refrain from making any puns on Happy Noodle, because there is nothing that won’t sound raunchy and really the drama title silliness speaks for itself. Filming started in late May on the C-drama Happy Noodle starring Yoon Si Yoon, Li Fei Er, and Zhang Jun Ning. I was wondering who the second male lead was since he’s taller than the already … Continue reading →
I think I might have solved the big mystery in Big – the connection between Yoon Jae and Kyung Joon, which leads into why their souls switched during the accident. Of course nothing can truly explain away the magic involved, but I think I have the context and the raison d’etre. This is completely my speculation after mulling over all … Continue reading →
