The producers of the upcoming C-drama Happy Noodle with Yoon Si Yoon and Li Fei Er have released a concept poster, which has such bad photoshopping its actually quaint. I’m still wrapping my head around dubbing over my Si Yoon’s magnaificent voice, but I think seeing him onscreen so soon outweighs the negatives. Check out the poster below, plus I’ve … Continue reading →
Such a cute cast! The currently filming C-drama Love Actually with Lee Da Hae, Joe Cheng, Li Yi Feng, and Anna Fang held a press conference yesterday to start the first step of promoting this drama. It will air this Summer so that is quite a fast turnaround time, but Summer is the perfect time to air a frothy rom-com. … Continue reading →
Lee Jun Ki‘s comeback music career is off to a red hot start, as if it would be anything less than explosive, considering his massive Hallyu appeal before he left for military service. This week Jun Ki was in Shanghai to attend the Oriental Billboard Awards, accepting an award and performing his new single “Born Again”. I love everything Jun … Continue reading →
For Vanness Wu‘s upcoming daily TW-drama Ti Amo Chocolate, it’s not surprising that he’ll be singing the title track. What’s cool is that for the song, called “Undefeated”, Vanness got Korean singer Junho from the group 2PM to collaborate with him. Junho sings in Chinese and he’s actually not bad. Hey, if the Super Junior M boys can lay down … Continue reading →
When I read novels sometimes I get so impatient I want to flip ahead and see what’s going to happen. It’s a bad habit I really need to break. But sometimes a nice spoiler really juices me up to keep going because I’m excited and curious how something is going to happen. Yun Zhong Ge is headed into a heart … Continue reading →
MBC’s official website for The King 2 Hearts has confirmed its going to air two episodes on Thursday, after a bit of waffling about it over the weekend. The written preview for episode 7 is out, and it confirms what is happening in some of the scenes shown in the video preview already. For TK2H, I’m not angling to know … Continue reading →
The King 2 Hearts, la la la, I love you, you are so perfect. That’s a chant I made up recently, it’s quite catchy and makes the time pass by quicker. Another way to while away the hours until Thursday is if MBCÂ keeps releasing new official stills to put a smile on my face. The latest batch are behind-the-scenes moments … Continue reading →
I knew this ride wouldn’t last forever, the amazing magical chemistry and relationship between heroine Mi En and second male lead Han Xiang in Fondant Garden. Seven episodes in, there is always at least one scene between them per episode that has me squealing like a stuck pig, in between heart beating wildly and smiling like I just spotted a … Continue reading →
I’m don’t watch variety shows, probably because I already bend time and space enough as it is. Anymore and I’ll be tempting the drama fates to smite me. But I totally got interested this week in checking out April 10th’s episode of the K-talk show Strong Heart, which was formerly hosted by Kang Ho Dong and Lee Seung Gi, but … Continue reading →
This chapter is rough, so don’t say I didn’t warn you. As if we didn’t already see enough hints that Yun Zhong Ge doesn’t have Da Mo Yao‘s easy stakes, this chapter cements that this novel is serious and pulls no punches. The power is about to shift in Chang An big time, and the consequences will have far reaching … Continue reading →
2013 is going to be the year of the Tong Hua novel-to-drama adaptations, with three of her novels ranging from currently being filmed to being cast, all aiming for a 2013 broadcast. All three are being helmed by different production companies, so it’ll be a competition to see who did the best with the casting to the filming. Da Mo … Continue reading →
Rainie Yang is one of those actresses that has chemistry with any of her leading men. ANY. One of her more famous pairings is with Show Luo, who is a singer and MC more than he’s an actor. They were cute in Hi My Sweetheart, even if the drama was wack. I heard Rainie and Show were in Australia last … Continue reading →
I’m selfish. At this point, I’d vote for South Korea to really be ruled by a constitutional monarchy if that meant no elections and I get my new episode of The King 2 Hearts. Next Wednesday there will be elections in South Korea hence MBC is preempting its Wednesday night drama, otherwise known as “Koala’s MUST HAVE/NEED/WANT episode 7 of … Continue reading →
